We went with 2 other couples we met at the St James Club. We were looking for something different than the all inclusive fare. The red snapper was excellent. Most importantly, the waitress did an excellent job of timing the service. Matt, the owner came out and greeted us which was nice. I feel its a must do, when in... More

A really special place in such an unusual building. Very unique and different. It’s in a building with shutters and no windows but inside is a big surprise with just a few tables but very good service and exceptional quality food. Very wide choice and all locally selected from markets and specialist importers. The owner/chef came out to check on... More

At the intersection of 2 island roads near the St. James Club and Willowby Bay, The Hideout is a special place for dining. I hear it can be tough to get a reservation but I had no problem and the restaurant was not at all crowded. It is open-air and has a casual vibe but this is no beachside shack.... More

Having stayed in the nearby resort all inclusive, it was an excellent treat to find such good food just outside the compound with our charming English host - surroundings stunning

Friendly high quality service with food that is amongst the best on island. 2 miles from the bars and restaurants in English Harbour means that's is less frenetic than most so of you are looking for a noisy atmosphere then take a group of friends or try one of the many in the harbour. Otherwise you may have to talk... More

We tried this restaurant because the reviews were so good, it was just a 5 minute drive from the St James Club, and we were looking for options since the food at the St. James Club was so bad. It's a small restaurant with only a handful of tables, and the restaurant is owned by a husband and wife. He... More

From the outside you wouldn't give this place a second look. Shuttered up, no sign and on a sleepy road leading to the St James Club resort.....BUT....as night falls and the shutters go up....WOW. Run by a husband and wife team from the UK and in operation over 20 years this small, intimate gem of a restaurant delivers top notch... More

It was a year or two since we visited Hideout but back for another gret meal this time. The menu was, we think, even wider than before but the mushroom, bacon and cheese pastry starter has always been a favourite with me whilst the asparagus and egg was enjoyed by my wife. Fillet steak au poivre and Mahi Mahi were... More
