This is a great place to chill out on the first floor veranda overlooking the streets. The staff here are the nicest people I think we have ever had at a restaurant/ cafe. We only had time for a couple of local beers and rum punches as our cruise ship was due to leave but the attentive staff were so... More

The ambiance is wonderful (all white and a minty island green) and really sets the tone for a beachy, Caribbean meal. The staff was delightful and very attentive, though allowed us to take our time and enjoy our meals. My friend ordered the grilled lobster that 1. was HUGE...it was falling off the plate! and 2. Was the best lobster... More

My husband and I visit Antigua several times a year, as he is a native of Barbuda. We have eaten at Hemingways twice prior to this trip and the meals were delicious. On our most recent visit Thanksgiving 2016 I finally and reluctanly tried the Curry Shrimp, as I am not a lover of curry but had never tried any... More

We visited )eking ways the first night we arrived in Antigua. The place was pretty quiet on a Saturday night which we thought was curious but nothing to worry about! We had the conch fritters and rum punch which were great. I had the blackened Mahi Mahi on a bed of rice noodles with some veggies. Fish was fresh and... More

When we go to Antigua there is an element of déjá vu about our visit to the capital St John's. There are a couple of stops that are a must. A bite to eat and a cold beer on the Hemingways veranda is a perfect way to relax and watch the world go by. I lose count of how many... More

This place is amazing! The food was sooooo great! We are from Florida and know good seafood. We had the Mahi, Lobster, Seafood pasta, steak, and chicken curry. It was all fabulous. 6 of us left sandal's to go eat there and it was well worth it! Excellent staff too. They were all so nice and provided great service.

Thank Kayla W
