Myself and my family have been going to The Queen Inn for years and have never had a bad meal here. You are always greeted with a warm welcome, varying menu and good homecooked food. There is always a very nice atmosphere here.

Visited mid week with friends, we all ordered different meals, each of the meals were excellent, nice size portions & served together hot. The serving staff were very pleasant & the beer selection was good. An enjoyable evening.

Have eaten here many times but this review is based on my visit with my husband in September 2016 to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. We chose the Queen as it is local to us, we can walk both there and home, plus we have never had a meal that has disappointed us as yet. We both had the steak,... More

A great family run pub & restaurant in Upper Cwmbran. Always busy. Set in a Beautiful mountainside scene. A large play area, including a tree house. Tasty meals, large portions, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Great waitresses & awesome Chef's.

So the mother and father in law have birthdays every year, normally I'm away. Let's go to the Queen they said. As they were paying I put up little resistance. Again and again I keep saying this is just the best place for a Sunday roast. Tremendous service, brilliant atmosphere, and best of all amazing food. How can you not... More

If you are looking for a decent meal but don't want to pay restaurant prices then a visit to the Queen Inn is recommended. The food is very reasonable quality and excellent value for money. The menu is varied and the service quite rapid.

My first visit to this pub and I haven't got a bad word to say about the place. I had the gammon which was nearly £9 and the portion size was huge! I had more than a handful of boiled potatoes, salad, mushrooms, onion rings..it was so tasty! Staff seem friendly and polite. No complaints from me.

We've been using the Queen Inn for years but only on occasions. We've never had a bad meal there but the main reason we don't use this place on a regular basis is because of the attitude of the landlord and landlady. They've always come across to me as being very much up themselves.
