Amazing staff, really friendly, Variety of food not only delicious but A+ presentation. Must try the Pizza as yummo. Best coffee for miles. Clean, artistic setting with a veranda over the water to just relax and enjoy

Ate there with my parents. I had something lite , but my Dad had a soup which he said was the best he has ever had, and my mum had a raw fish salad. First time in Rawene. What a cute little place. I love the kiwi service. it is so genuine. great hot chocolate too.

We arrived on the ferry across the tranquil Hokianga from Kohukohu into Rawene under blue, blue skies. And soon settled ourselves onto the deck over the water here with plates of simple well-cooked fare from the lovely ladies of the quirky and wonderful Boatshed... This thankfully and blissfully remote part of the Northlands is to be savoured for its marvellous... More

If you are in Rawene you have to do it. The bacon and eggs with the kawakawa salt was absolutely devine and to top it off I washed down with a gorgeous mochaccino. You're just not going to be disappointed. A big thumbs up to Teresa and the team. Make sure you call in to see Joey from Maori Magic... More

This place is worth visiting just because of its location! I really enjoyed sitting on the veranda, perched over the water, with the wonderful view back over to Kohekohe. And my iced coffee with chocolate brownie was spot on too. Could have stayed there the afternoon and read my book. So peaceful. Will definitely be back

Beautiful view from the deck of this small cafe in a beautiful part of New Zealand. Stopped for lunch and the food was delicious- the BLT on a bagel was generous and the special, chicken pot pie, outstanding. Welcome was warm and there is a cute gift shop attached. No hesitation recommending.

We had our first NZ breakfast here. We need to understand what is meant by their way of doing things. A side of sausage unlike in the US was 2 giant bratwurst style sausages not brown and serve size. The food was plentiful and very good. All the eggs were free range and most of the beef and pork is... More

Great food with great views sitting outside on the harbour. Standard brekkie menu and excellent friendly service. Best Coffee in town. Artwork inside is not worth looking at, but if you want something nice to look just go out on the deck.

Ordered lunch here, as we liked the look of the deck overlooking the harbour. After about 10 minutes we received our Panini's, thinking the drinks an slice would follow. We started eating and finished half our lunch before my partner ended up going in to ask what was happening and they had forgotten about them. They did apologize and bought... More

This small place right on the water behind the Main Street was a real surprise. It serves a variety of very tasty lunch dishes at reasonable prices so it was no surprise to see people lining up to get a table. If you can get an outside table you have a wonderful view over the water and can watch the... More
