This was my sister's local pub when she and her family lived in Kew for three years - we ate here numerous times with them. The food was reliably good and definitely a step above basic English pub food. The atmosphere is great, a combination of comfortable locals and a few travelers as it is an inn. I've not stayed... We had an excellent dinner with a good Spanish wine served by a very friendly waiter. The dishes were great: we order two hamburgers and two steaks as main courses as well as a dish of charcuterie to share. This one surprised me a lot, and so did the nice variety of vegetarian dishes which I'll definitely choose if we... More

The place is getting emptier and emptier as many locals are abandoning it in favour of other pubs in the area. The beer is good but the staff is not well trained and seems to have a bit of attitude of "I can't be bothered" which makes you think that they need Gordon Ramsey style makeover to shake things up.... We were looking for a hotel close enough to both Twickenham Stadium and Central London for a weekend with friends. The hotel was good, but the surprise was the amazing restaurant and bar. The breakfast menu was a lovely surprise, but our Saturday evening meal was incredible, and the price was unbelievable.

We met a friend who has been having a very difficult time in her life this year so had not met for a few months. The relaxed atmosphere of the gastropub soon had us chatting and laughing. The young waitress (it was her first shift the evening we were there) was delightful. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The... More

We go to this pub regularly as we live nearby - the food is always excellent as well as the service. It has a nice family atmosphere and a wide range of meals/drinks.

Nice atmosphere, good amount of people in the restaurant area to give it a nice atmosphere without it being crowded. We were warned when we arrived that only one chef was on and that the food was slow, it was a bit slower than one would normally expect but as we expected it that was no problem. Good selection of... This is our local. We used to come often but the past two visits have been disappointing. Food was average and the staff didn't seem particularly interested. One young man behind the bar is always friendly but the rest....not so much. Food has gone down in quality and taste in my opinion and the wait for someone to take orders,... More

Set just across the road from the nations most famous botanical garden by far, The Inn at Kew Gardens is a popular stop off with everyone from horticultural enthusiasts to tourists and well, just local Kew folk. Anybody who has spent time in Kew will recognise the impressive marble pillared building covered in brightly coloured annuals, entrance flanked by manicured box. But if youve yet to venture inside prepare for a treat. The Inn at Kew Gardens is as comfy, cosy and traditional as one might hope with its large wood bar, leather armchairs and exposed brickwork but it also boasts a touch of designer style in the careful use of modern furnishings and clever colour. A constantly reviewed menu composed of seasonal, fresh ingredients combines British with international flavours and a creative flair.
