This is an ideal place to stop for lunch when exploring the area. Nicely furnished and very clean. The owners are very friendly and provide a very good service. Food is good and at a reasonable price compared with other restaurants in the area. We had beef and ale meat pie, which was tasty and a good sized portion. If... More

Stopped off at The Thistle Stop on our way back to our hotel in Fort William from a trip to Inverness, with it being mid afternoon and dinner booked at our hotel we could only manage a snack unfortunately as the food being served to other diners looked delicious. We just had the soup and a sandwich combo with a... More

My Wife and I called in on our way to Inverness for the week, we only requested Scones and Coffee, the service was excellent as was the food and drink. We were impressed with the menu and friendly atmosphere, a good sign was the obvious locals who call in as the owners knew them by name. We were so impressed... More

A great place to stop for food. We had a sandwich and a panini and they were both excellent as was the side salad. Add in the great coffee, really friendly owners, great cakes and you've got an ideal place for a break in your journey. To my wife's great pleasure they also stock patchwork, quilting, knitting & crochet supplies... More

Lovely people running the place, fantastic scenery and really tasty scones and tea. We had almost given up hope on finding a good tea room along the A82 and suddenly this place revealed itself. We were very happy to visit this cosy little tea room / shop.

For many many years I've passed this place by, thinking that it didn't look wheelchair friendly for my dad or me being in a rush to get to a particular destination. Well travelling on my own today I decided to finally pop in to see what it was like! I can only echo the sentiments of other reviewers here, very... More

"Wow".....what a review...thanks John you've made our day! I am just sorry that I didn't say goodbye to you. As you had paid up front (and as I was serving another table at the time) I only noticed you had left as you were going down the steps. So thanks for calling in and we look forward to seeing you... Stopped here on our travels, had a great pot of tea and the best fruit scones with jam and cream! So light, they melted in your mouth! Definitely worth a stop if passing!
