I had fond memories of eating here and meeting the original owner more than 25 years earlier. Not much has changed but if anything it's even more fun now. From the (very) colourful lighting, to the bizarre and eclectic memorabilia collection, to the alcohol merchandising...More

Very friendly servers. You can sit inside or out as there are garden seatings available as well. The staff were very friendly and the food was fresh and flavoursome. The local produce was tasty. The grilled garlic prawns were yum and a great portion, the...More

We visited for dinner mid week. Despite being peak season there were only 4 other diners in the restaurant. The decor is interesting, but a little tired looking. We ordered the seafood platter for 2 which was very filling and the quality of seafood served...More

We enjoyed a night here for dinner. The place is decorated with lights and makes it look wonderful at night with all the gardens lit up without ruining the atmosphere. We sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful two course meal with genorous serves for a...More

Service was slow but the Seafood Platter for 2 is definitely worth it! Atmosphere is great with old trinkets everywhere and the garden is lit up in all the coloured fairy lights. Like everything in Raro, this place has definite island time but the food...More

Picked this restaurant for my husbands 50th birthday dinner. Two adults two kids. Great kids menu and fab size portions for them. Seafood platter was huge and yummy! The staff were good fun and made a fuss of us as it was a special birthday....More

Good menu, beautifully cooked fillet steak, reasonably priced. Service a little haphazard, but it was a busy night. Entrance to restaurant not well lit, difficult to find.

Description
A great quirky casual dining experience. Opened since 1979 it still has the same owners and the same name. It is a mix of eclectic and local island decor. The walls feature an array of photos of events, people and things. The ceilings are a collage of various types of posters etc. The Tumunu Garden Restaurant also features the "largest little notebook" on the island. Come visit us! A fun place for children too with a garden and "dancing laser fire flys"
