Restaurants within national parks are often basic but the Peaks was surprisingly delicious with a beyond basic menu for descent prices. The service was not great but the food made up for that.

The Food is very inconsistent, and overpriced for its quality. The marinara pasta was flat out terrible. Also, one night we got canned mashed potatoes, then the next we got the real thing. They are the only restaurant in the area, so you are forced to eat there. The park is Great, but not this restaurant.

The Peaks offers great views, a nice staff and an interesting menu. Unfortunately, the food itself is a bit disappointing. All the entrees we had were either overcooked, undercooked or just bland. The breakfast buffet is better, but the offerings never change. Oddly, the bar only opens in late afternoon and closes right after dinner. And the prices for everything... More

The first night our waiter recommended the rib eye with garlic mashed potatoes done medium rare. The meat was good the first night, but when another member of our party ordered it the second night it was almost raw. The first night we were given steak knives. The blade in my steak knife was loose and wobbly, but it could... More

I have Celiac and have to eat gluten-free; this restaurant is amazingly accommodating for those with special diets. In the evening, a big fire is kept going in the fireplace, and it's a wonderful gathering place for families, couples, groups and singles of all ages. The food is top-notch and locally sourced. Highly recommend.

We had been in the park about 4 hours and were extremely hungry and thirsty. We made the mistake of going in August, too hot, humid & crowded. This was the only restaurant that was in the same vicinity as us. It is beautiful inside. We had a table by the window with a terrific view of the large trees... More

I liked the food here. It was a life saver because there isn't another restaurant for miles. I ordered the chicken flat bread. It was a bit burned but I was so hungry that it tasted amazing. It was empty when I went and the service was great. It is tad bit expensive but overall, a good experience. The views... More

This time of the year is especially slower paced than during the summer months. We were able to be seated immediately in the dining room with a great view of the trees and mountains. The wait staff were all very pleasant and chatty. We had the tri tip sandwich and the Club sandwich. Both were nice portions and very tasty.... More

This is one of my favorite dining experience in the park. If I lived closer I would choose to go here once a month. Love it

Typical breakfast buffet but with better ingredients. Even with a nice taste, the $15+ per person felt too expensive given it's the only option for miles.
