This was our 4th trip to Phantom, and as in the past it did not disappoint. We love that they open the canteen to all, even us who are camping, to come sit, enjoy some lemonade and talk to fellow hikers. We did not eat...More

Phantom Ranch is a shining oasis in the bottom of the Grand Canyon National Park. While we weren't lucky enough to stay overnight here (reservations book up a year in advance) it was great just to soak it all in and see this building and...More

Great place and when not used for dining, this area serves as a retiring place allowing families to play board games, relax with a drink or coffee or tea !

If you live for electronic devices, tv, and social media, this is not the place for you. But for those of us who enjoy quiet, nature, and history, it's Heaven. The bunkhouses (five bunk beds) each have a bathroom with shower, and the beds are...More

Phantom Ranch, at the bottom of the Grand Canyon, reached only on foot or by mule, offers guests two dinner seatings, each with a different "menus," both served "family style." For us, plates of enormous steaks, huge baked potatoes, giant bowls of salad, cornbread, chocolate...More

Food was ok, service is excellent. It is a welcome place for hikers. Can even grab a beer or a glass of wine from a box. All hauled down by mule. Makes it special even though the food is very mediocre.

After a very long day of hiking, we were excited to get to Phantom Ranch Lodge, have some time to relax and refresh ourselves, and then come to Phantom Ranch Canteen for a nice steak dinner. You should plan in advance if you want steak....More

The costs is more like $500 each, less if you book multiple people as then you share a cabin. I've done it three times now and loved it each time! I know people have booked these just a few months in advance but to ensure... More
