Given that there are very limited options in the parks, this place isn't bad at all. In the cavern (750' below), options are very limited - 2 sandwich/wrap selections and only potato or macaroni salad. At the Visitor Center, options are much more robust - tacos, pizza, burgers, tilapia, salads, nachos, and a few other hot dishes. Meals are pretty... More

This little resturant offers quick food sandwiches and hot items also. We got the taco meal for seniors for $5.98, which was a taco, rice and beans... good deal. The nachos and cheese were too salty for us to eat so, avoid if your on a low salt diet . The drinks were free refills.. my only complaint was the... More

My wife and I ate lunch here after we hiked through Carlsbad Caverns. We were hungry and not expecting much. We were prepared to spend a lot of money for not much food. The food was reasonably tasty, the prices were very fair for the location. The help was okay, not great, but friendly. The biggest problem was the cashier's... More

Our group ate lunch at the cafe located by the parking and visitor's center. There was a greater variety of food than I expected. The value was good. The taste was average. Worth eating there if you can't pack your own food.

We were hungry after spending 3 hours in the caverns, and chose to eat at the restaurant in the visitor center. I had the large salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing, and my husband had the turkey bacon sandwich. I was surprised at how good both were. Spend the extra $$ and eat here. The food is really good.

We spent most of our day here and did not bring food with us. They have decent food and the prices are reasonable. I was able to feed four people lunch for $25. Totally worth it.

We ate one day in the underground lunch room, one day in the visitor's center café. Both were better than we had expected from previous reviews. If your schedule allows time to ride the elevators up, then back down for lunch, that's probably your best bet for a wider selection and to see a little daylight. However, if the elevator... More

You'll likely be hungry when you finish your cavern adventure. My chicken tacos were average (nothing special) and my husband's turkey sandwich was fine. Convenience is great and the place to sit, rest and rehydrate was worth a million. The gift shop is really nice with many souvenir choices. The food is adequately priced and there were many choices.

My wife, son, and I had lunch here while visiting the caves. The food was just okay but the service was horrific. There were 3 people working and were not at all coordinated. Although there were only a few people in front of us, it took a long time before we placed our order. I ordered the tilapia. They proceeded... More

Eat here only if you have no other choice. Selection is poor. When we were there, there were only a few people but it took 15 minutes for them to figure out who was preparing what and where it was and this was cafeteria style.
