My Hubby and I were told by some of the locals to pop into Tea and Niceties (I really wanted a scone with jam and a lot of cream) so just before our trip home we did and I'm so glad we did , we had a beautiful FRESH Devonshire tea. The scone was the most delicious scone i have... More

Tea and Niceties was an interesting stop for refreshments on our afternoon visit to the mountain. After parking the car out the front of the building our small group were surprised to enter into a very inviting garden with white outdoor furniture where others were enjoying cups of tea in fine china and scones, there was an oversized wooden swing... The outdoor dining area in a beautiful garden setting with lovely plants and flowers surrounded by rainforest is great. Could spend all day there easily. The staff and owners treat you like family and close friends. The teas are lovely. Very special range of loose leaf teas. The cakes are heaven. The chocolate jaffa cake is awesome. The food is... I ordered the gluten free flour less chocolate cake. Very tasty and was not that sweet. high tea is offered here. The cakes are made fresh every day. When you walk in you order and sit down. Everything is served on fine China dishes. They also serve breakfast, burgers, salad and high tea which is the specialty.

This is a beautiful formal place to Have afternoon tea. A very special luxurious place makes you feel special a going time to dress in your finery. The food was delicious and the choice of teas was very varied and a lovely choice. Good for a special visit our celebration.

Very good choice for breakfast or lunch. Most seating is out in the open so I am not sure what they do in wet weather.

Every time we visit Mt Tamborine we have to come here for scones and tea. We haven't tried the high tea option yet but are happy to have our scones and tea outside and enjoy the lovely garden. The scones are really good - probably the best I have had at a cafe. The staff here are very friendly and... More

We had high tea at tea and niceties on sunday. The food was all very nice, though scones a little dry maybe because they are a small size. The china is beautiful as is the silverware. I think it would be nice for the water to be served from nice jugs not old plastic ones. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the... More

With some overseas family visiting, I requested to be seated out in the garden, and the team were only too happy to assist. (Despite this being a tricky request). The table was beautiful and the selection of treats and teas were delicious! We couldn't finish our selection, so go on an empty stomach! On a beautiful day, the garden really... More
