Surprise, surprise, I found a place like home (I'm from Bavaria) with the beer I like and the food I need, well sometime. Beside of a very nice set-up there were also friendly staff and a nice view.

I am wondering whether some of the critics who commented here were in a different restaurant, or just don't like traditional food. We took our inlaws from Slovakia out for a surprise lunch and they just loved it, we took the Jaegerschnitzel and the Wiener schnitzel and even took a Chef platter back home. All food was highest quality and... More

One of best meals I had since I arrived to Australia. The real European flavors, friendly staff and reasonable prices considering portions. We will definitely return.

I ordered the chicken salad, nowhere did it say that it was a hot chicken salad, ( I detest warm let alone hot meat in a salad) but there was plenty of chicken, the salad was uninspiring, a huge pile of salad leaves some red pepper, cucumber and tomato and about 100ml of rather tart dressing swimming in the bottom of... Stopped in to try the beer Not too bad Staff seemed nice Although we Thought it was odd that one of the toilets had a window that was wide open and no curtain so it had very little privacy if someone were to walk by Overall the the experience was ok

We called in for a late lunch on the weekend. We sat at a table over looking the water and battled 324 flies (indoors) and after looking at the cobwebs and the 27 flies trapped in them towards the ceiling we moved table - if we hadn't ordered we would have walked out (a couple did just that while we... Over priced menu and horrible food. My toasted ham cheese focaccia had tomato sauce slathered all over it and was inedible. The pie was cold in the middle and the chips were burnt with way too much salt. Music was painful.

The food prices are ridiculously high - same prices as what I would pay in fine dining restaurants in Brisbane. The meals are very large, but the quality of the food is well below average and did not taste fresh or appetising. The side salad that accompanied the meal was less than 1/4 cup. Never have I paid $116 for... More

Prices are a bit high, but the meals are very filling, in fact, almost difficult to finish everything on the plate. While the name is Bavarian the food is German and Polish, so those who are after pierogi will find them here. They have a winery within the venue, with reasonable wines for sale.
