Our group of bush walkers went to Spice of Life for lunch and we loved the numerous choices available. The sweet potato and lentil pie was delicious. Veggie burger, salads and home made pies were all delicious. Lots of great Xmas decorations for sale also. Great place to eat and browse.

It was a good idea we precooked it was very busy with most tables reserved. I order Nasi Goreng with Satay chicken & peanut sauce. My daughter ordered the German sausage with potato salad, my son in law the pumpkin soup and butter chicken to follow and my grandson had ham & cheese toastie. I really enjoyed my Nasi Goreng with fried egg on top. The staff are very friendly and the added variety of candles, clocks and more products available for sale was of interest.

Visited on the Mayday PH and it was very busy. Wonderful friendly staff who had time for all their customers despite how rushed they were. We orders the chicken nachos and the crispy noodle mango salad with a side of sweet potato chips and coffee. The food was exceptional quality and we didn’t have too long to wait. Can highly recommend.

Made my booking 48 covid hours in advance for guests travelling from Brisbane to ensure we had a lunch venue for my birthday.. Was advised by the manager firstly that I didn’t have a booking, and then that I’d had a booking and ‘someone’ had cancelled my booking just prior to lunch, so no table for 4! No attempt to try to problem solve for a regular customer. Obviously a larger party was waiting to be seated! You can expect the same treatment! Pity, as a local I’ve dined here many times over the years. No more. Anyway, had 2 course yummy lunch, drinks and coffees at Mountain Brew.

Was here several years ago but partner wanted to give it a go. Poor coffee. Inferior Soy milk - please, if you are going to offer soy, at least offer a quality brand (Bonsoy or Happy Soy Boy) so patrons who care about their health can enjoy a cappuccino. Food was ordinary and overpriced. two strikes. Will not be back

Sorry to hear you were not happy with your coffee. We have tried both bonsoy and happy boy soy and our local customers who come in every day were not happy with the change. It is not easy to keep everyone happy. These days we find almond milk is by far the more popular one and we carry two different brands of almond milk - the Alternative and Milk Lab.

We visited today for a quick lunch. The coffee and turmeric latte were beautiful. Kids cheeseburger and the adults gourmet burgers were delicious but the highlight of lunch were the pulled pork soft tacos. These will definitely not disappoint!!! The cafe was warm and inviting, with lots of goodies to purchase. The staff were wonderful, especially a young man who had a few jokes with my mother in law. We are still laughing about it now. We will definitely be back.

Some people just find this whole COVID thing too hard. Even coming out of it. Nice food, quite tasty, but the wait staff and the manager need to wake up a bit. It’s called hospitality. Number one rule- don’t leave a que at the counter and be busy with other stuff. Number two rule, never, but never be unnecessarily rude to your customers. (Without them you don’t really have a business), If you don’t have a stunning location or great views, you really need to hone those hospitality skills, or good food may suddenly not be enough.

Plenty of on street parking, but it's Friday. Light lunch, fresh sandwich chicken and swiss cheese or smoked salmon and brie with an inch of salad, fresh brown seeded bread, in a relaxing atmosphere. Coffee is excellent! Don't forget to look at the gift ware, something may come home with you. Oh don't forget the clocks

We had lunch here on the New Year public holiday in Jan 2022, because Gallery Walk cafes were inundated with visitors and there were significant delays. This cafe was very well run, with great food and service. We were pleasantly surprised to see they required physical evidence of double COVID vaccinations before they would give you service. Well done to the proprietors.

It was a very wet and misty Saturday afternoon. As we drove up the mountain, we stopped outside this quaint and quirky cafe. Lovely older style decor - just what you imagine in the Mt.Tambourine region. Pastries and cakes in the cabinet all looked good. Lovely carrot cake, chocolate cake and sweet treats plus savory items like chunky beef pies, quiche and veggie slices. We opted for simple tasted sandwiches each and some sweet potato fries. Simple but tasty. We enjoyed a coffee and a look around afterwards at the locally made produce, imported chocolates and quirky local garden pots and wall clocks. Yes clocks and clocks of various types and shapes and styles. This is a very simple and easy going cafe with nice fresh food.

Popped in for late morning today. Cafe was half full. Ordered coffee and Strawberry Friand (large muffin to give you idea of size). Service was slow, perhaps not enough staff for a Sunday. Friand was lovely and light however was somewhat disappointed as there were only 2 small slices of strawberry on friand, hardly a strawberry Friand! Partner ordered vanilla Milkshake & delish lemon & ginger biscuit. The milkshake was barely barely cold. Location great but don’t rush here.

The cafe is very quaint and upon entering there are a lot of little knick knacks and gift ideas. Staff were very friendly and the service was great. The food was excellent. My husband had a burger and he said it was spectacular. I had calamari which was tender and the dipping sauce was delicious. The coffee was also hot and very nice.

Having had a positive experience here before, we stopped for a gluten free for coeliac lunch as the menu listed a lot of GF options. Unfortuately these were seriously restricted to just 2 options once the different between gluten free and not really gluten free were explored. The oil, fryers and prep areas are shared so much of the menu listed as gluten free was actually more like low gluten. Disappointed with the response and this information. A simple addition of a fryer for GF only or a reprint of the menu would make a huge difference for people who are not GF by choice.

This cafe is not on the main 'Gallery Walk' tourist drive but in the Main St opposite Mitre 10. A lovely cafe with some cute gifts, pickles, jams and chocolates to peruse while you wait for your food and drinks. They have a great selection of home made delights. We had the beef and burgundy pie and the quiche. The gourmet sandwich looked huge and delicious too! Both equally 11 out of 10! Big chunks of lean beef in a home made pastry. All reasonably priced. The staff are happy, friendly and efficient and I would definitely recommend a stop there.

This is such a great little cafe with a lovely diverse menu including some really good healthy options - the cauliflower salad is lovely. We didn’t have any cakes but the cakes on display looked really nice! They also have some great little gift items available. The coffee was also good. There was a range of seating available inside & outdoors.
