Lovely spot to grab a coffee and cake. Cakes have always been nice as well as biscuits. Never had a bad cup of coffee there. Staff have always been friendly.

I don’t really recommend this restaurant as 1. Me and my family ordered a hotdog and it was covered in ketchup so it was sticky, 2. The table was dirty, 3. The food was sour/bitter. However the food was at a reasonable price.
We sat outside which was brisk but nice. Service was slow. 3 out of 4 breakfast meals were good. Coffee and cakes great. Would go again. Plenty of parking and easy to find.
Weak, insipid coffee (partner’s decaf was burnt), the tiniest sliver of cake at a premium price, and cold service at the front counter.
Having had a positive experience here before, we stopped for a gluten free for coeliac lunch as the menu listed a lot of GF options. Unfortuately these were seriously restricted to just 2 options once the different between gluten free and not really gluten free...were explored. The oil, fryers and prep areas are shared so much of the menu listed as gluten free was actually more like low gluten. Disappointed with the response and this information. A simple addition of a fryer for GF only or a reprint of the menu would make a huge difference for people who are not GF by choice.More
Had lunch 2 days in a row had the pie with a beautiful salad with nice pieces of orange and seemed like home cooked beetroot. Also had toasted sandwich with sweet potato fries. Everything was so nice and such lovely staff. Took home dessert, peach...cake and melting moment biscuit. Absolutely delicious.More
Good food, good coffee and a warm welcome, even at 6.00am on a Sunday morning as part of the bikey crowd. Can also tell its popular with the locals which is always a good sign. Absolutely worth a visit.
A local venue that provides top service and great food. The laid back atmosphere makes this place a must if your looking for value in an area that seems to cater more to tourist.,this place doesn’t as they operate with the idea to provide quality...at great pricesMore
Cute little cafe that had a good selection of meals at good prices and tasted delicious. Coffee was good too. They have gifts and such inside to pirchase which was nice to look at while waiting to order. Staff were nice.
We had lunch at this lovely little restaurant during our 3 day stay at Avocardo Sunset B and B. Menu selection was excellent and very reasonably priced. Lovely to look at all the little nick naks for sale including a lovely Xmas selection.
The cafe is very quaint and upon entering there are a lot of little knick knacks and gift ideas. Staff were very friendly and the service was great. The food was excellent. My husband had a burger and he said it was spectacular. I had...calamari which was tender and the dipping sauce was delicious. The coffee was also hot and very nice.More
It was a very wet and misty Saturday afternoon. As we drove up the mountain, we stopped outside this quaint and quirky cafe. Lovely older style decor - just what you imagine in the Mt.Tambourine region. Pastries and cakes in the cabinet all looked good....Lovely carrot cake, chocolate cake and sweet treats plus savory items like chunky beef pies, quiche and veggie slices. We opted for simple tasted sandwiches each and some sweet potato fries. Simple but tasty. We enjoyed a coffee and a look around afterwards at the locally made produce, imported chocolates and quirky local garden pots and wall clocks. Yes clocks and clocks of various types and shapes and styles. This is a very simple and easy going cafe with nice fresh food.More
Bad customer service, asked for bacon and spinach with my eggs bene, no spinach. Asked again for it-no apology, she just shoved an eftpos machine in my face for an extra $4 and walked away. After starting to eat I got up with my plate...and complained to someone else. Still no apologies, just arguing and justifying. As a local I will not return. Too many other places with great customer service and good food to frequent.More
This cafe is not on the main 'Gallery Walk' tourist drive but in the Main St opposite Mitre 10. A lovely cafe with some cute gifts, pickles, jams and chocolates to peruse while you wait for your food and drinks. They have a great selection...of home made delights. We had the beef and burgundy pie and the quiche. The gourmet sandwich looked huge and delicious too! Both equally 11 out of 10! Big chunks of lean beef in a home made pastry. All reasonably priced. The staff are happy, friendly and efficient and I would definitely recommend a stop there.More
This is such a great little cafe with a lovely diverse menu including some really good healthy options - the cauliflower salad is lovely. We didn’t have any cakes but the cakes on display looked really nice! They also have some great little gift items...available. The coffee was also good. There was a range of seating available inside & outdoors.More
