Good service, young waitress was very pleasant and gave us some good recommendations. The delivery of the food was slightly slower than we would have wanted. But was top quality. Very tasty, served hot, steaks delicious. Definitely worth going to.

We found this from a locals recommendation and weren't disappointed. We shared a pate starter which was yummy, the mains fish was cooked to perfection and my pork dish hit the spot. The owners were very welcoming and the atmosphere, sitting by the log fire,...More

Really friendly pub with a cosy fire place. The food was really tasty and even found vegan friendly food for my friend.

A great little pub in a beautiful location. Tucked away behind the river front, The Boot is a proper traditional front which, refreshingly, has escape Farrow & Ball, and retains a massive amount of personal character. Food is excellent, well cooked, beautifully presented and plenty...More

Had a good roast Sunday lunch here with loads of very fresh vegetables.. The staff were very friendly and falling over each other to be helpful. Only complaint was the dining room looked rather shabby.

Party of 6 in for dinner. Soup and pate as starters were just gorgeous. Steaks were to die for as were the other dishes of fishcakes and beef burger, huge portions and full of flavour. Lovely chocolate cake to finish off our meal. Thank you...More

Having had a bad experience with another local pub, that I will not name on this review, I decided to try out the Boot with a couple of friends. I cannot fault the service or the food. Well worth it. At the previous pub I...More

Description
Cosy, warm and welcoming would describe the ambience. Warm log fires and the friendly attitudes of both the family and members of staff.
