We came as a group of three on a Tuesday night. We had the jelly, risotto and the tasting Kobe plate. All courses were amazing, and best beef I have ever had. Fantastic service as well. Absolutely worth the money, do yourself a favour and...book in!More

I had dinner few days ago with my boyfriend in this small cozy place. The Maitre is very professional and speaks a very good English; he spent time in making suggestions and explaining the dishes. My boyfriend could taste three varieties of meat (100 gramms...each) by choosing a good deal dish and he was really in heaven while eating the dish. Since I am pregnant I chose a kobe stew (no raw!) that was also delicious. The menu is not limited to the kobe, but has other very good specialties. This place is not touristic at all, but it is affordable although not as cheap as the touristic places, but I think it is a good compromise. The dish my boyfriend had costed around 7000 yen (about 50 euros) and it was well prepared and well served. The beef-stew I had was 3500 yen (about 26 euros) and we also ate some starters and desserts. I believe if you want to taste kobe and also other very tasty kind of Japanese meat and you want to taste the steaks and not the slices, without going to very touristic places but also without spending a fortune this is a good place!More

I booked several weeks prior to going and got a confirmation. Then I was asked to confirm when I was in Tokyo which I dutifully did. However, after mastering the route to get there and locating the lift, we discovered that it was a public...holiday and the restaurant was closed! I did notice a message on the website saying it was closed on public hoildays but had not seen that when initially booking. It is disappointing that the booking system did not reject my request - particularly the day before when it was "confirming' my booking. You can also pre-pay a meal and that would have been very difficult to deal with had I paid - there is no way to contact the actual restaurant via email (the booking system is via a third party), only by phone and that is always difficult trying to make yourself understood,.More

Excellent food, super friendly staff. English is not problem. When we were with our delicious meal, they gave us a folder and lots of explanations about beef in Japan. We never even asked for that ;-)

My wife and I wanted to try Kobe beef in Japan during our vacations and took it very seriously, even investigated in the Kobe Beef official website. We found this restaurant which had a nice looking website and at a nice location. We loved the...beef and the side dishes. The service was excellent. Will return on our next vacation.More

We had the mashed potato and minced Kobe beef as an appetiser which was good. We then all had the tasting plate of Kobe beef with 3 different cuts and shared some of the side dishes. The beef was excellent and the side dishes pretty...good too. Good food is expensive in Tokyo, but it was quite a steep bill nonetheless. And they add tax on top of the final sum. Would I come back! Yes, but I would give other places a shot first...More

We ate here as a group of 4. Had reservations made just that afternoon. There is a bistro and a restaurant. We could not get into the restaurant, but the bistro was available. They have the same menu as the restaurant so we were game....The marbled sirloin was incredible (tender, juicy, melt in your mouth). We also had 2 other cuts but I have to say the siroin was hands down the winner. We ordered mushrooms, mashed potatoes, spinach, and grilled vegetables which were all excellent sides. The dessert was great as well. I have to say that the service and the food were both outstanding. The servers spoke excellent english and we left fully satisfied. In fact, I would go back again and again if I were in Tokyo.More
