Went there on our first night in Osaka after reading about it in the Michelin Guide (1-star restaurant). Small place, less than 10 tables. Very simple and very clean. The ambiance is quiet and cozy, no photography or talking on cell phones allowed.
The restaurant had a nice environment - no phones were allowed so people were eating and chatting with each other. The food was great. You can see the kitchen from the dining area. Food was prepared fresh. Overall a nice experience.
We heard about this place whilst in Australia watching a Japanese cooking show. It opened at 6:00pm on Friday and was full by 6:10 (with us being the last table!). This restaurant seats 20 people max and this would likely be the nights service.
