I was staying very close in the area of Tachibana dori where there's a plethora of coffee places to choose from and mill pour stood out from the crowd. Perfect brew and the neighborhood was pretty serene

This ended up being my coffee go-to place during a recent visit to Osaka. I ordered a cappuccino and a couple of macchiatos (which were more like piccolos and that was a bonus for me!). Each coffee was carefully made and the results were perfect.
Hubby made a special trip down to try out this coffee. Located somewhere near Horie Tachibana (Orange Street). There's also an excellent artisan bakery next door - Hijirian; which is a must-try!
Nice coffee and services. We stay in Vessel Inn. This coffee shop just 2 minutes walk from our hotel.
We had the best coffee of our three week Japan tour here in Osaka on our last day. I was reassured to see a LaMarzocco machine on the bench and took a punt that paid off handsomely. Next stop - Melbourne - and this will...help with the transition. Bravo Millpour!More
Very nice coffee for picky coffee drinkers, worth going and trying especially if your in it for the coffee, very small shop, more of takeaway place but has a few sits, around 4 options for food hotdogs and toasted bread, had a small flat white...and was excellent.More
It is often difficult to get a decent espresso in Japan. So, by week two, when we got to Osaka, I was very keen to find something decent. Google Maps told me Mill Pour was just 1km from our hotel - and open at 8am,...so off we walked. Mill Pour is a charming tiny place, with seating for around 7-8. We ordered coffee. As there was a bakery next door, we also grabbed some pastries to have with it. Coffee was delicious! Almost made me homesick for Melbourne coffee. Most decent coffee in japan is quite expensive (500Yen was quite common), but this was worth it. We went back the next day and experienced something interesting. A film crew was shooting a scene for a local TV show. Clearly the place has a decent reputation - and was sure to become even more trendy after the show was aired. The only minor negative was the late opening time on the weekend (10am I think). I've usually had my second coffee by then!More
One of my must try coffee in Osaka. Open early in the morning , tucked away in a little street , tiny coffee shop, perfect for takeout as it only has small seating . I ordered a latte and it had a great strength. Not...too overwhelming to start with a bolder flavour. My daughter said that the hot chocolate was exceptional too. Surely will return when I visit Osaka again.More
