The new baker here creating the traditional REAL sourdough and it is amazing. He can answer any questions I have. I am usually gluten intolerant but I seem to be able to handle this sourdough. One of the best things I have ever tasted 10/10

Thank you so much for your review. I have passed your comments onto our Baker and he is thrilled you love it so much. French flour and Australian flour are milled very differently and French flour does not require any additional gluten which is probably why you can tolerate it. More

This used to be the best bakery in the area but it's gone off in recent times. The freshly baked loaves were once displayed on shelves, now they're wrapped in plastic on a self serve rack. Smiling friendly staff have been replaced by grumpy people who sigh deeply if you'd like one of the pre-wrapped loaves sliced. Hope things improve... More

Hi, Thanks for your feedback. I am very sorry to hear you had a disappointing visit to the bakery. Our freshly baked loaves usually displayed on shelves has changed slightly of late. We do put them on our self service rack at the moment because it is a quiet time of year and we don't make as much bread as... More

The perfect French breakfast with these baguettes. Get there early and take your breakfast into the delicious bracket! They also have a good array of breads with the heavy fruit loaf a favourite and some great rolls and loaves. The pies are good too.

Has been variable over the past but an ok steak and mushroom pie was better than the alternative of the Coolum bakery

This bakery has a lot of variety, and they have nice sourdough bread (white or rye), sometimes the staff are friendly, other times not so much

Had enjoyed breakfast at Hand of Fatima and this seemed handy just a few doors along to get some food for lunch. An interminable wait, a shop full of customers but only one person serving. The pie was very ordinary, not worth the wait.

Visiting from Melbourne and popped in to get something for the kids. Scones were terrible, small and hard. Kids finger buns small and overpriced - actually most of the items there were overpriced. $4.80 for 6 rolls was a bit much. Served by a grumpy looking staff member who looked bored & impatient waiting for us to choose a few... More

We came here for a look-see and ended up with 4 pies to heat up at home and a box of cakes and pastries. The pies tasted good heated up at home. The key lime tart was my favourite as well as the donut. The vanilla slice filling was a little bit runny as well as the custard tart. The... More
