The food here is very good and worth the price and the amount served for every portion is pretty good, very friendly and good customer service.

I just read the comments bellow, and simply can’t get how so many people found this place bad. Maybe they improved in last 2 years, i don’t know, but we are enjoying here for last three days. Tried some other beach bars but this one...is the best so far. Drinks (ice coffe, fresh juices, cocktails) 10/10, staff 9/10 (little bit slow, but its same everywhere), food 8/10 (tasty but not excellent). General impression 10/10! Give them at least a chance.More

Very bad. They forgot to take us one of the ordered burger and when we asked to receive it they refused to provide it because the “kitchen was closed” (at 10pm). Moreover the didn’t want to give us even a bit of discount on the...bill. Absolutely not professional and not friendlyMore

We spent like a whole week at this place! Waiters are nice and give really good recommendations. Ask him for the massages near by :) Happy Hour is from 12 pm with beer for 250 Rupee and 300 for nice cocktails - try the queen...mary ;) Apart from that also nice fish in the evening and best prices at the beach. Red snapper starting from 800 including fries and salat! We really recommend and don’t understand bad experience. Grap a drink, take a seat on the comfy seat bags and enjoy the sunset!More

We picked our fish on the beach front and they cook it fresh for you, all this with two drinks too for £12. Good music playing too, decent vibe.

Enjoyed an evening by the sea having a freshly caught fish cooked by the chef. Food was delicious, the cocktails were ok only problem is the staff are not very attentive and you have to ask a lot of questions when ordering your food as...they give no explanation as to what your food comes with or if the fish is filleted etc.More

Terrible service. Waiters in casual clothes so you can't tell who works there. No attention to customer service - took us 15 minutes to attract the attention of a waiter and order a drink - same when we wanted the bill. Based on the drinks...service, and unfriendly waiters, we decided to eat elsewhere.More

Normally check TripAdvisor religiously before eating and had a bad feeling about the shirtless guy selling the seafood but it’s New Years and one of the only places with Jumbo prawns available (we paid 1500rp each last night a few down but these clowns want...2500rp each!) so we decide to eat as it a special night. I’m sure they swapped the prawns after we chose them because the ones we got were tiny, everything was over cooked too. There are so many other places to eat seafood on the beach in Mirissa, do yourself a favour and choose one of them! Wished I had listened to my gut and read the other reviews (especially the one about the maggots in the curry) and our New Years probably wouldn’t have been spoiled.More

Unfortunately we’d just arrived in Mirissa and hadn’t done our research, we paid the price. The food here is appalling/inedible. I had the crab and my wife had the seafood roti with a side of fries. The fries arrived ahead of the other food and...were cold and delivered even ahead of any cutlery, which we had to ask for. The crab I was served literally contained no crab meat (none) and was served with soggy boiled veg (one of which I couldn’t identify) and lumpy mash. The roti was a dry pasty containing many many prawn tails. The only thing worse than the food is the staff. Avoid avoid avoid.More
