Fantastic restaurant hidden down a little back street. Give you a tour of the kitchen to make your choice of food. Brilliant service and the food is the best Greek food we have ever had anywhere in Greece.Ate here 6 times in a two week stay. Number 1 as far as we are concerned.

We were thrilled to find this restaurant in Lakka - it felt like Greek restaurants used to be! We were anchored in the bay here and went in by dinghy. The restaurant is a bit hidden round the back of the town but well worth seeking out. We were shown the food in the kitchen - and it all looked... More

My husband and I visited Alexandros twice during our ten day honeymoon in Paxos , we still dream together about the amazing lamb cooked in paper parcel with potatoes and vegetables , we would hands down say it is the best meal we have had in our life !!!! Alexandros is a real family restaurant the staff who I think... More

WE nearly didn't go there because its tucked away in the corner in a rather inauspicious position. The food here was better than anywhere we tried in Lakka and Logos. This is a family runrestaurant and they take good care of you, the cooking is traditional and full of flavour. The service is wonderful and the atmosphere very convivial especially... More

While all the other restaurants in Lakka had but a few customers, Alexandros was full, but he managed to drag a table out for us to use. Great , one thinks, but maybe that's his downfall. There were really more customers than the staff could handle. We might have done ourselves no favours in our choices; our squid was greasy... More

A delightful family run establishment tucked in a side street under vines. You are invited into the kitchen and shown all the dishes. It is hard to choose. We have eaten here a few times and it is always most welcoming and the food is always good. Possibly not the cheapest place to eat but so nice to get away... More

We went here on the 1st night and was the best meal of the holiday. My husband had the beef stiffado and was the best he had tasted. We were taken into the kitchen to see all the food. It's down the side alley but well worth a visit. Cheaper than eating at the harbour

Alexandros is a great host and the taverna style food is excellent. The second night we went there they were understaffed and the service was slow

I am surprised this Taverna has not been reviewed before as it is long established, always full and really good value. It is located in a small side street just behind the harbour road, next to Lisa's Place and the Harbour Lights Bar. It is a traditional family run taverna which cooks either fresh for you, from the Souvlaki Grill or from a number of pre-cooked dishes which you can view in the kitchen. The prices are really good too. And because it is always busy it has a good atmosphere - Ok the views aren't as good as the harbour side, but you can eat well here for value and then go for a walk and drink at the harbour later.
