If you want an excellent meal in a classy resturant this is it. The food is well prepared , local dishes and good wines are served by the owners themselves.Any occasion to celebrate should be done here.

I suggest to order tartare of bison and as main course Ostrich with rosemary. Wine list it's superb! things to improve, main course hasn't any side dish also baked... More

First evening in Italy and was brought there by colleagues. The building is from medieval times and they manage to maintain the atmosphere. Warm atmosphere and pleasant, no rush to nor push to order. Food was good and the cake for dessert ! The riches of the fresh slice tomatoes with, bake bread with an oil dip. You can almost... More

One can bet on the reliability of this restaurant. Meat is the speciality, but fish is also very good. Wine and liqueur cellar is well refurbished and worth a visit after having enjoyed a very good meal. Price on the high side.

Being coming here for 20+ years and have never been disappointed. To many dishes to highlight, they are all good. Visited on the 2nd June had seafood linguine followed by the rabbit with a bottle of Dolcetto. Well worth a detour if you are driving through the region.

I went there for a business lunch, and did not expect such a friendly informal environment. Excellent food (i tried bisteca fiorentina) and wide range of wines. One should ask to see the cellar and the oval room !!

We were staying at the adjacent Corte del Passone (check it out) and ate here on two evenings. Both times food was great and the owner helped with recommendations from the menu and wine list. Clearly a popular venue for the locals (in itself a great recommendation) and various dining rooms and terrace spaces meant (at least when we were... More

We first visited the restaurant on the 2nd august 2013 and we had to come back for a second helping, we loved the menu, the service, the cellar is full of excellent fine wines, the friendliness of the staff is sublime and the food is exquisite, we would have no hesitation to recommend this establishment to anyone.

The "Passone" was born in 1953 as a simple family-run trattoria. After over 60 years the family is not changed, the Cogliati, and the atmosphere is remained friendly and informal as ever. But all the rest is evolved, creating a modern structure where you can taste ancient flavours and traditional and innovative dishes in a backdrop of natural beauty.
