Went here to celebrate my sisters 21st Birthday with our family. My sister and I weren't there before but our mam and dad were some years before and enjoyed it at the time. There wasn't many in the restaurant when we got there but our dinner was for seven pm. The waitress was very nice, helpful and honest about recommendations.... More

As a large family who enjoy good food and warm friendly surroundings is was a complete pleasure to discover An Tintain restaurant in Multyfarnham. Booking for large groups is difficult for some other restaurants, but An Tintain has this covered with, at no extra cost, a private family room which comfortably accommodated us all. From the outset all staff were... More

The staff were excellent, very friendly and regular customers were spoken too like old friends. In our party there was a coeliac and dairy free person which were catered for with no hassle was the meals are prepared freshly. The food was amazing I highly recommend the goats cheese starter with Cumberland chutney, the steak was cooked to perfection and... More

Having booked for a family birthday gathering we found ourselves in An Tintain in Multifarnham last Sunday afternoon. On arrival we were immediately in receipt of a warm welcome by both the front of house staff and the open heart fire. Our mixed party of approx. 12 was split between children and adults. We were led through to a provide... More

It is some time since I have been to this little hidden oasis , I had forgotten what a wonderful experience it was. The food and presentation was just superb. Each course was a delight to the eye and just mouthwatering to taste. For that special occasion I would recommend coming and Paul the wonderful chef will make a dish... More

Had a big group booked in for a meal recently. Food was lovely- when it eventually came out. The service was poor. Some of the group had their meals eaten before others had even been served. Water came out of a twist top wine bottle instead of white wine. Coffee was not served despite it being ordered on 4 occasions.... More

My husband and I had dinner in An Tintain in late September. It was the best dinner we had in the entire area. The food was wonderful, the service was great and the atmosphere was lovely. We sat beside an open peat fire which we loved! We also ate in the nearby town of Mullingar which has several restaurants. We... More

This was my second time to eat in this lovely restaurant, which is a little off the beaten track, as the village of Multyfarnham is about 4 Km or 5 minutes drive from the N4. The food is superb, and beautifully presented, and the waiting staff extremely attentive without being in any way intrusive. It was also very homely and... More

We just happened to be staying near Multyfarnham early this October and discovered a gem of a restaurant. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with a turf fire which creates an atmosphere of coziness and warmth when you enter. The food was truly exceptional beginning with a duck and avocado mousse for starters followed by a rack of Irish lamb.... More

Was pleasantly surprised by the service and food. We were a group of five with one special needs child. They were very accommodating and the food served was A1. Worth coming back +++++++
