The location is fabulous on the Atlantic Ocean on a hill. It is located on the Northern Headlands section of the Wild Atlantic Way. The bar is cozy and the rich wood finish is perfect. Staff are pleasant and always a smile. Once again we...experienced that wonderful Irish hospitality. I wish we could have spent a couple of nights there, maybe next time. The seafood chowder was delicious!! There is ample parking out front. The menu is varied with lots of choices and something for everyone. Highly recommend Carey's.More

Perfect revisit.

We were staying at Tidal View this April our lovely host recommended the hotel for our evening meals, a great little walk there and back, it did not disappoint. We revisited this September again staying at Tidal View, and our meals every evening were fantastic....For himself the chowder was top notch for me the scampi cannot be beaten, I have to admit I had it 3 nights running...ooooh it was amazing. We popped in for Sunday lunch again was so good, lovely tasty well cooked food. Thank you to everyone at the hotel you really made our stay in Kincasslagh a very happy comfortable one. Can’t wait to return....still dreaming of scampi.More

Excellent

A lovely little family run hotel Pauline the proprietor is very hands on she makes you feel very welcome and she works very hard There is a great choice for breakfast We ate dinner one night there and the food was top class Rooms are...adequate clean and comfortable Staff are friendly There seems to be a lot of repeat customers I definitely would stay here againMore

lovely Hotel

the staff are so friendly and welcoming here. the hotel is in a grand location near the golf course, the port for Aaran More and the Beach. the food is lovely and the prices are very reasonable

Hotel with a view

This hotel is situated at the top of a hill with gorgeous coastal views surrounding. Although the view from our room (5) was over looking waste ground but sure whose there to sit in their bedroom and look out a window. Room was fine bathroom...good although tip of the day switch the shower on a while before you need it to get it warmed up. A few shelves in the bathroom would have been good. Bed very comfie. Staff all very helpful especially Pauline. Food was very good and reasonably priced for dinner. Breakfast was more than enough first thing in the morning. Very clean would highly recommend a visit.More

Great Sunday lunch!

We went for Sunday lunch here. The location is great, even along a coast notable for such great views. I had the chicken chowder starter, followed by roast leg of lamb. The mint sauce was a tad vinegary for me, but the portions were generous,...the meat cooked perfectly, and the seasonable vegetables also well cooked. I feel a little guilty even now for indulging in the bread and butter pudding with custard, but it was heavenly. We had a bottle of Italian red wine between us, but our courses were from the special Sunday lunch menu at a reasonable €18.50 each. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and I paid with a card at the reception desk. We shall return.More

Sea food chowder with pint of Guinness- Amazingly good

Food was very good, absolutely loved sea food dishes. Good menu offering varied range. Breakfast was excellent. Staff extremely helpful and friendly.

Beautiful views

This is a small friendly hotel overlooking Cruit Island. We enjoyed our stay here, the room was small, clean and comfortable with a sea view. The breakfast was hot and tasty with table service and we could have had one evening meal between us! Our...hosts were friendly but not intrusive. Overall we had a great stay. Beware of the midges in the evening.More
