Fantastic setting, average food. Touted as the 'famous' fish and chip shop, it is ordinary apart from the setting.

I'm from the Sth Island, and these Fush n Chups were the worst I've ever had, battered beyond belief and very little fush inside the over salted batter. Didn't even hav a crumbed option, wake up mangonui, tourists are not stupid. And it's the 21st...More

This is where the locals get their fish-n-chips AND ice-cream. Never have we had such fresh fish. Couldn't stop eating the chips - after inhaling the fish! Delightful staff. Sooo good.
Friendly service. Fish & Chips did not meet my expectations. Fish fresh but was greasy. My wife being vegetarian had salad and corn fritters - she said that did not meet her expectations.
