The setting of this winery reminds me of Napa Valley in California or Tuscany Valley in Italy. We were driving from Taungyi to Nyaungshwe and made planned stop here for lunch. The menu has Asian dishes, but everything we tried had a hint of German influence. The vegetarian salad with potato felt like an Asian salad infused with German potato... More

This is sort of a very pleasant surprise, totally unexpected. A vineyard and restaurant in Taunggyi. The place is rustic, the food is delicious and well done, good wine, particularly the late harvest chardonnay and beautiful view of the sunset and the sprawling vineyard. Not to be missed if you are in Inle or Taunggyi.

We stayed two nights in a beautiful room overlooking the valley. The view was absolutely stunning! The staff were very friendly and helpful with organizing transportation for us. We had fairly low expectations for the wine, but really enjoyed the whites. We are bringing 2 bottles home and would have taken more if our luggage could accommodate it. We hope... More

Nice atmosphere and very good food, wine. High recommend that you should come in afternoon to enjoy the sunset. The staffs is quite friendly and convenient. However, we need to struggle with hundred mosquito during dinner in monsoon season.

I happened to visit this place (for wine tasting) as it was on route from Kakku. The place is very pleasant, and I liked it, but the wine was terribly bad (for European standards). It looks like they are putting a lot of effort to identify the best grape varieties/blends for this area, but they still have a lot of... More

We went here with another couple we met on the lake. She were looking for something to do in time for sunset and figured why not? The cab ride there was 18000 kyat RT and they waited while we had a leisure dinner and drinks. It's lovely vineyard, lots of grapes almost ready for harvest. The food is fine but... More

This is an amazing restaurant for its view but the food is quite average. We stayed at the lodge which should be the subject of another review gave us opportunity to eat 3 meals. Lunch was local and quite well done with the vineyard's Sauvignon Blanc being an excellent accompaniment for our fish curry and mixed vegetables. We also tried... More

We dropped by this vineyard on our way to the airport. They charged 2000 kyats for wine tasting of 4 glasses. Wine is drinkable and indeed it is a bit exceeding my expectation. The food is great especially the wine leaf stuffed with mince lamb meat

Luxury rooms overlooking the beautiful vineyard with amazing indoor and outdoor showers in the bathroom (ask for the room with outdoor shower). Very designer and Japanese feeling rooms. In the morning the mist covers the mountains in the distance and the sunset from the deck in the evening is gorgeous. The sauvignon blanc is delicious as is the syrah. Definitely... More
