I thought the food was good and the prices were pretty reasonable for the area. The wait staff was very nice and good. They even stayed open a little later so that we could eat lunch.More

We ate at The Shack 2x during our weeklong stay in Flamingo and we will be regulars when we return to Costa Rica later this year. Great adult beverages, very good food, super-friendly staff.

Yes they are. At the time we were there they did the exchange rate as 500 colones was equal to 1 US dollar when charging your card. We had a card that didn't charge any international fee also so it was a pretty good deal.
