Amazing food. We stayed locally for 7 days and we visited here twice. There were 3 of us, and we each tried different things on the menu each time and not one thing was 'just ok', all amazing!!
The food is outstanding, lots of flavour and its very obvious that alot of effort has gone into the presentation of it. Great cocktail selection too. All staff are very attentive and friendly, we had our baby with us and they helped us take the stroller up and down the steps of the restaurant.
If we are back in the area we will 100% be coming back here.

If you're looking for fresh food, come here! When you first pull up to the restaurant a lovely woman greets you. She points to you to walk down a set of stairs. The stairs open up to a lovely little patio with ample seating. After sitting we were given menus but presented with a fish that was caught that day. We were given the options of steamed, BBQ, and fried. We asked for BBQ and asked if it could feed two. He said yes but then offered us the other half steamed so we said yes. A few minutes later an entire massive fish came out, one half steamed the other half BBQ with a huge bowl of fried rice. IT WAS ALL AMAZING. Freshest fish in the area with great flavor. The broth in the steamed bowl was so good you could drink with a straw. After that for desert we had a banana milkshake and a Lychee Daquri that was the perfect end of the night. The service was great, the food was delicious. For all of that it cost us $50 USD which is incredibly cheap given the amount we got.

We walked past the restaurant and since I've read about it before we decided to give it a chance. There was only one other company in the restaurant and we were greeted and could choose our seat. It was relaxed, very nice staff and had a good amount of options on the menu. We went for the tuna tartar as a starter and it didn't look like much but the flavors were great. For mains we had the Phad Thai and another noodle dish with seafood. The seafood dish was one of the best dishes I've had in Thailand, flavourful and lots of good textures. Good prices and very peaceful during our dinner. Definitely worth going there.

Went there with a reservation on Valentine's day at around 7:30pm.
Waited 15 minutes before we our order was taken, waited another 15 minutes before our drinks came.
Our delicious food finally came after a one and a half hour's wait.
Luckily there was a live band to keep us entertained.
The Pomelo Salad was tasty and good.
The Fried fish with Mango Salad, was crispy and fresh.
Massaman curry with prawn was very flavorful, but the prawns were not fresh.
The Stir Fried noodles Phuket Style and Thai Mojito can give them a miss.
The food was tasty and delicious, do come if you have patience and time.

We walked here from our hotel for a last minute dinner and the service was quick and the food was absolutely amazing. We got spring rolls Massaman curry, chicken satay and some minced pork dish with an egg and the flavors were wonderful ! Highly recommend checking this place out . It would probably be a good lunch or subset spot because it is on the water...

The Restaurant offers a nice view on the bay of Kamala. In the evening there is very loud live music.
The service however is very slow and poor. We had to wait more 90 minutes for our food even though the restaurant was not very crowded. The other dishes were served after two hours. The other dishes came after almost 2 hours. Do not waste your time here.

This place was so delicious we ate here 8 times in our 7 day trip. Try the pomelo salad, tuna tartare, catch of the day, masaman curry and green chicken curry. The owners are lovely and gave free drinks a couple of times. Even on our last day the internet was down and they couldn't process our credit card. They were going to just let us eat for free!! No way, we made sure to find a way to pay for our last amazing meal at our favorite restaurant in Thailand.

Visited with 3 kids under 11, host recommended great dishes for kids, fish cakes and chicken skewers. Very quiet in restaurant, beautiful spot looking over water. Highly recommend

The Number 1 Thai food restaurant in Kamala.
Khun Suporn is a 4/5 star trained Chef and his presentation of food dishes is a step up on other places.
Eat in or take away in Kamala at no extra cost.
Prawn cakes are big and fresh prawns crunchy
New fish cake balls are spicy and different to the norm served elsewhere
Pomelo salad with chicken or prawns yum yum
Tom Yam Kung đź‘Ť
Deep fried fish with curry sauce and Khao Soi Gai (Chang Mai Chicken noodle soup topped with crispy noodles ) are our repeat orders !!

The restaurant is charming with a traditional Thai vibe, the most delicious food I have ever eaten in Thailand. Everyone from the chef to all staff are visibly giving their best in all they do, each dish is prepared with love and presented with pride as they should having in mind the generosity of their portions, great presentation, freshness of ingredients and true culinary skills. Did I mention the too low prices for what they offer? Very modest prices for the high quality. I could eat here every single day forever. Their soups are made in heaven! Thank you 🙏🏻

Bua is an absolute gem in Phuket, the food is outstanding and so tasty, service and presentation like what you'd find in rated restaurants. No picture can do the place justice. Visited twice and could have been every day and not tire of menu

The owner goes out and fishes everyday, so your dinner is literally sea to table. Good food, good drinks, good prices. It looks like a run-down dump, but the chef/owner knows what he is doing.

This is one of the best restaurants in Kamala, set out of the way from the main throng. It’s very picturesque, overlooking the beach and is run by a very friendly family. I had the pomelo salad to start which was one of my favourite dishes I’ve tried in Thailand. Really delicious I will definitely revisit.

Stopped to eat here as staying nearby at Cape Sienna. It’s a family run venture and reminds me of my first visits to Thailand more than 20 years ago when you could get really good quality Thai food that was fantastic value for money.
We ate a Thai green curry (chicken), flat noodles with beef in dark soy and some chicken fried rice. All delicious and washed down with some beers. The welcome we received was excellent and there was also a local guitarist in the background. Most interesting was watching two large monitor lizards below us in the creek.
They do fresh fish here so we shall be back to try it. This place is well worth a visit if you want good authentic Thai food at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended

I visited the first time and had a decent meal but the restaurant was rather empty hence lacking atmosphere.
Towards the end of our holiday we thought we would visit again to support them. I called and booked a table an hour in advance. I asked for 5 people and a table by the waters edge.
On arrival (after getting a cab) every table was taken by the water (some by only 2 people). I explained to the lady I had booked but she ignored me and sat us at a table with only 2 place settings.
After 5 mins of no service and the menus being thrown onto the table, we decided to leave. The woman was then even ruder.
With such hit and miss service I would not return. If you visit I hope you are lucky and have a great meal, I will not be taking the risk again.
