On our way to Corny Point, we stopped at this Bakery for lunch. The pie's were excellent with a good selection of different flavours to enjoy. The pastry selection was also irresistible and looked very tasty, and of course we indulged. The bread's also were of great quality and selection.

Couldn’t ask for more. Lots of choice. Extremely fresh - finger bun in particular! But even better was THE BEST sausage roll in a long time!!!
Seems extremely popular and seems obvious why. Yum!

Dropped in for a coffee and cake. Had a fruit scroll and it was very nice indeed. Large range of pastries and cakes with seating inside and out. Really enjoy our coffees and didn’t really enjoy these as much as others. Certainly worth dropping into this country bakery though.

In November 2017, we travelled throughout Yorke Peninsula and visited the Minlaton Bakery. So when travelling that way again, we were eager to return the bakery.
Our aim to re-visit the Ned Kelly pie in particular. On a Saturday morning, we entered the bakery and noted the surrounds really had not changed in just over 2 years. We had already decided a Ned Kelly Pie for each of us and a coffee each. Standing at the hot food cabinet I could not find the Ned Kelly, although it was advertised on the board listing products available. I had to ask for the pie and yes they did have them.... What? The whole concept of this pie had now descended into a stereotypical Australian round pie. The only thing that indicated it was a Ned Kelly was the "N" emblazoned on the pastry. We decided to give it go and ordered one each to eat in and coffees.
With pie on plate and eating utensils gathered from a side table, we waited for the coffees! I decided to cut the pie and look at the "internals". A layer of bacon, cheese and egg is what looked like a mornay base and covered with a mince and gravy mixture. The flavour was dominated by the gravy/mince mix and frankly was disappointing. The coffees were mild but at least were hot!
Service wise, the bakery was average, superficially friendly but if they knew the customer, the attitude changed.

Return? May in the future if passing through but would not make it a definite stop point.

Horrible beef pies because they put cinnamon in the hot beef pies or whatever they put in their pies tastes like cinnamon. I bit into the hot beef pie and all I could taste was cinnamon and it was horrible to not taste a real beef pie. Yuck.

No curry pie for ages, always says sold out but the sign says baked daily 8.50am...? Love a good curry pie. The pepper steak are awsome also, and the pasties

Not many bakeries left where you can get a great pasty - this one however is one of them. Lots of pies and sweet treats to also choose from as well as bread and coffee.

The staff were quiet friendly and helpful. The produce was so good we bought more to take home with us. Love the pepper in the pasties and the the Pepper Pies.

We picked this as the lunch spot. Got there a bit late. They were out of our desired meals. Restock of fresh cooked was at least a half hour. That said, default offerings were very good. Extremely popular with locals

quality and range at good prices in this country bakery - with plenty of seating inside and out. Staff shared a joke as the EFTPOS waited to connect - nice touch!

Stopped here on more than one occasion when travelling in the Yorke Peninsular. Excellent tasty pies. Pepper steak and lamb both delicious with chunky pieces of tender meat. Busy shop.

Haven’t had a Kitchener bun for years until today - magnificent!
