Even at the start, before we arrived for dinner, the staff were so accommodating. We were running late and I had to delay the reservation by an hour - I sent a message via Whatsapp and the restaurant was quick to respond and allowed us to change our booking.
We chose the 9-course kaiseki dinner for 4 people, and enjoyed every course! The staff were very friendly and explained each dish clearly. We even got to meet the chef who came out to speak about one of the courses. Overall it was a wonderful experience of delicious food amongst friends. We were so stuffed by the end. Would definitely recommend!

I had the honor of dining at Takumi Kaiseki and it was a truly unforgettable experience. Takumi Bali gave us incredible experience to taste every ingredients in each courses which became perfect taste together and unforgettable. We’ve had 9 amazing courses with paired wine. The restaurant architecture design could brings you the feeling of Japan, which is very nice. The staff are very welcoming. Wayan is really great in assisting us during our dinner. And very honor to met Chef Daijiro Horikoshi who made us felt important. We definitely enjoy our time at Takumi Bali.

Takumi is hands down one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The attention to detail is simply incredible - from the perfectly presented dishes to the impeccable service. True high-end Japanese restaurant, rarely to find outside Japan. Chef Daijiro Horikoshi takes superb care of highest quality of all the products, preparation, presentation, and service. A theatrical experience which is absolutely worth the price. The only issue is, that after having eaten at Takumi, you will never be satisfied again in another Japanese restaurant, haha. My partner and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Takumi Kaiseki, and I have to say, it was one of the most memorable and enjoyable dining experiences that we ever had. I went in thinking it was a Japanese restaurant in Bali, but the food was good and the staff service was excellent. There was a Japanese chef who seemed to be supervising the restaurant. It was a bit expensive at 1.2 juta for a 9-course kaiseki meal, but it was well worth it. I would like to order the omakase next time. It's a restaurant I definitely want to return to.
