We visited the Potato Head Beach Club and got a nice spot. It was nice to relax and enjoy the music. The place has a great vibe and good food and drinks. You can also order from the Indonesian restaurant other than the menu provided...at the Beach Club. It is a bit expensive, and you may not be able to consume the entire money you have to pay as a cover charge when you enter.More

Was really looking forward to a day in the sun at Potato Head after being a few years ago, however the place has changed very much for the worse. The vibe, area and just totally misled online. There is no entrance fee, but minimum spends...and online for a simple day bed it’s 500k which is fine, expected by the pool as stated, but on arrival they only have 1.5million or 3 million in the main area or sheltered lounges, which for a few hours a single traveller isn’t going to spend (roughly AUD 270; GBP £170; USD $ 200) - there is total disconnect between website and reality and what was a great time a few years ago, this was disgusting. Many other and better places to go in the area, avoid here and go there.More

Having looked forward to visiting Potato Head Beach Club for many years I can't believe how disappointing the experience was. The cocktails were so bad we did not drink the first 4 we ordered. Just mediocre quality and service all round. And a non existent...vibe. We visited Fiinn's Club the day before and there is no comparison...everything they did in the way of food , drinks and service was superior to Potato Head. We left without using our minimum spend it was that bad...and i did not care...we were so disappointed we wanted out of there. Not sure what the hype is around this place because trust me there is no quality there at allMore

Came here for first time for dinner with my friends, the ambiance was great and the food was amazing with DJ music. Because we really enjoyed and we were stayed until closed. LoL

Great place to spend the day on the beach front with pools and a fabulous breeze. We paid for a Large day bed with umbrella right on the front with a minimum spend of 3000000 Idr . The staff were super friendly and attentive and...the food and drinks were fabulous. We stayed the day and watched the sunset. We ate and drank delicious food and cocktails and were very impressed with the standards. There’s a swim up infinity pool bar and we certainly had our money’s worth. Celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary here. Everything is just spot on. The weather, music, food, cocktails, sunset and last but not least the service. Special mention to our server, Bayu, who surprised us with an anniversary surprise after finding our through a random friendly chat.

Very unwelcoming and lacking a vibe - not what it used to be… I used to be a regular here some years before covid and took a very good friend here for a nice day out. The staff are SUPER unwelcoming on entry. They seem...concerned about one thing - money. I was asked 4 times what my name was, what I was doing there (we came for drinks and some food). The towels are not allowed on the beach, the loungers and daybeds were mostly empty and you can’t sit there (I realise there’s a minimum spend, however it’s the WAY they jump on you for money). Seems all a bit desperate. Lacking a vibe, facilities are good but I won’t be back. Potatohead has lost its charm IMO. For min spend, I’d rather be at the W.More

My wife and I had a great time at this beach club. The staff were prompt, kind and efficient. The food (especially the wood fired pizza) was tasty and well prepared, and the drinks were on point. The vibe was also really good; Chilled and...classy. They were also involved in a very good recycling initiative there. It was our honeymoon, and the team even bought us a special honeymoon cake. Really nice touch. Our servers were brilliant. Can’t understand the few poor reviews here. Maybe it’s related to the increased amount of people, putting added pressure in the staff and facilities. Certainly at this time it was great. We’d recommend getting a 1.5k bed to chill on, and the wood fired pizzas, sweet potato chips, chicken wings and honey ginger sling. Potato Head is the most unwelcome place I have ever visited. Travelled many places and countries, but this beat it all. We were send away from three spare spaces. One space they expected you to prepay au$ 300 before seating.. 🧐 not nicely asked. We...had a lovely party next door .. life music . Don’t go there, they are just after your money.More
