Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had breakfast at this nice little cafe in a quaint offbeat area, during the Australia Day long weekend 2024 in Old Bar. The atmosphere was relaxed, the views were nice and the service was great! We ordered 2 big breakfasts and 1 toast with...poached eggs and avocado. Even though the cafe was full of diners, food came out fairly quick. The portions were quite filling and the taste was great! Enjoyed the food and would surely recommend it to all those visiting Old Bar for a good healthy relaxed meal!More

We had takeaway lunch at 2pm on Sunday and we’re glad to see they stay open til 2:30om. We had fish, chips and salad. It was FANTASTIC!! A very generous serving, hot and fresh and the best light, seasoned crispy batter on soft white fish...I have ever tasted. Chips were perfect too. We will be back for more regularly.More

What a surprise when we stopped here for lunch! We’d passed by a few days ago as the exterior looked uninviting but so glad we tried it today. GreT plant based options and the best coffee we’d had for a fortnight.

We had a nice brekky. Location is quiet and setting good. Coffee was great, food was good quality and price similar to most cafes. However, I was disappointed that it was all served in cardboard where you had to collect at counter with buzzer. This...should be listed as an Eat in Take Away, I expect at a cafe to be served at table with proper crockery.More

I ordered the seafood basket, it was over cooked, the batter was thick & crunchy obscuring the taste of everything. The ‘fresh fish’ in the basket tasted terrible, so was left uneaten. My grandson who loves calamari couldn’t eat his, so a lot of the...$70+ meal was thrown away. My grand daughter however enjoyed her hamburger. Will not be returningMore

We stopped in here for lunch today for the first time. A choice of indoor eating or a pleasant outdoor eating area overlooking the fields. Or you can take away and eat at the little park by Wallabi Beach, 100m away. Standard cafe menu but...quality/taste very good.. I had a burger (basic burger + egg & cheese. I like to open my burgers up, split the toppings and eat with a knife & fork. Excellent tasty burger. My wife had Barramundi with chips & salad. She also enjoyed. Service was friendly & prompt. Recommended.More

What a hidden gem!! Not being overly happy with the cafe choice at Old Bar we decided to take a drive over to Wallabi Point. It was worth the drive😊👏 Wallabi Point Cafe is a perfect place for a coffee or a meal. Lovely views,...indoor and outdoor seating. Coffee is excellent and so is the food. It has a variety of offerings but we went for the crumbed barramundi and calamari. Totally delicious and the salad/chip accompaniment was perfect. So relaxed sitting outside with open views and the beach only 50m away. Good bathroom out the back, lots of parking. Must try location!More
