Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This restaurant is more on the pricier side in comparison to others in the area but I returned here twice during my stay. I loved that the dishes had a heap of fresh veg and that the dishes were fresh. We ordered the beef and...morning glory and spring rolls which were delish but a must try is the coconut iced chocolate.More

In our three nights in Tam Coc, we had dinner in three restaurants: first ‘An Tam Coc’, then ‘Chef Hien’, then ‘Hoang Cuisine’. All were good, but the tastiest dish, by far, was at A Tam Coc. From recollection I had braised mushrooms with vegetables....Service was a little slow, but the flavours of the dish made up for the wait. The first floor has a good atmosphere and view over the street. I’d definitely recommend An Tam Coc.More

Fantastic food, quality ingredients, great service. Family run place…best in Tam Coc town. Recommend the chilli and lemongrass chicken and tofu aubergine clay pot.

We visited this place twice during our stay in Ninh Binh and were very impressed. We chose to visit the first time based on a recommendation from a fellow coeliac (gluten free) at our hotel. Upon showing my gluten free travel card to the manager,...I felt confident that she understood my dietary requirements and the food certainly didn't disappoint. We had breakfast and dinner here and both times the food was tasty (both my gluten free food and my husband's non- gluten free food). There's a great selection on the menu and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The toilet was also very clean. During our evening visit, we got chatting with a fellow Brit over dinner and sat chatting and drinking until we realised we were the only ones left in the restaurant. At no point were we made to feel we needed to leave. We would absolutely recommend this place :)More

We had dinner here during our stay in Tam Coc. What an elevated experience with great traditional Vietnamese food. Everything is family style and delicious. The servers speak great English and were very accommodating. You have to try their homemade coconut ice cream. Yumm!! Highly...recommended.More

To sum up in one word “exceptional”!! Everything from food to atmosphere to owner to location - I could go on. Having travelled Vietnam for some weeks I appreciate good local food but also enjoy a cappuccino. This restaurant caught my eye as they had...a sign which said cappuccino and oat milk. It did not disappoint and was by far the nicest I have experienced. Not just in Vietnam but at home as well. As mentioned we called in for coffee and then discovered the menu. After ordering the standard spring rolls we found there was nothing standard about them and we were hooked on the food as well. We visited multiple times and tried many parts of the menu often at the owners suggestion. Without exception we had clean plates every time. I cannot put into words how good the food is here. If all that isn’t enough then the owner and her family with their cheery personalities and upbeat enthusiasm to make sure you leave satisfied will surely have you as addicted as we were.More

Amazing food so tasty. A lot of variety in Vietnamese dishes and fast and friendly service. The location shown on trip advisor is wrong. It is the yellow building on the same street side but closer from the boat departure place
