Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I am sure that in summer this place is pumping with all the water skiers and campers but during winter its a different story, its nice and quiet.... just the way we like it. The food was good pub fare and was really very nice...well presented and perfectly cooked. The staff were attentive and quick and the view was great look at the lovely big wall of Wyangala dam. It is the only place but it is worth a visit.More

OK. So when you manage to get here, you'll find a surprisingly well staffed and organised kitchen. There's no slacking off because this joint is only open three days a week and the locals and informed visitors no doubt look forward to their night out...at the only joint with decent food for a 30 km radius.More

Camping at the dam close by i went for a meal at country club. It is a lovely old fashioned little club with a bistro with reasonably priced meals, standard club food but nice. Staff are friendly and the beer was nice and cold

Have been here a few times over the years now and the place doesn't change....which is good. Locals and visitors alike all manage to enjoy the space together. Pool table, pokies, TV for sports and a fair few tables. It can get busy at times,...but that's part of the experience. A reasonable menu, again typically country fare with the usual steak sandwiches, chicken schnitzel, fisherman's baskets and so on. A tad expensive but not to bad. Just check the opening hours. Not always open during the day during the quieter times.More
