What a lovely restaurant, good food and service and atmosphere. This delightful though somewhat contrived 'ethno' complex is a rapid-fire presentation of all things traditionally Kyrgyz, attracting mainly well-heeled urban locals. Costumed waiters serve a full range of authentic and original Kyrgyz meals. Also they provide tour guide to look around of Supara . There are also history museum fee price only 100 som. Especially Thank you for Mr . Yryskeldi excellent service. Definitely we will come back. 🇰🇬💞

This is one of the best places to experience Kyrgyzstan’s cuisine and explore the culture. The service is remarkable and the food is delicious and plentiful. Please call ahead if you want to eat inside a yurt, have a large party or if you have special orders of food such as plov.

I was there with my husband, we didn’t know that if you want to try the national menu, you’ll have to go somewhere else because the portions are for a large family, you had to take the stupid lula and lamb ribs (tough), and you can’t even try the traditional drink (only a liter). In general, the cuisine is average, but we are glad that we visited this place, it is very pleasant to watch large families, relationships between different generations, how daughters-in-law pour tea, mothers-in-law pay at the end. The people in Kyrgyzstan are wonderful, friendly, or we were so lucky.

Supara has a very cool ethnic decor with unique buildings and dining arrangements, but that's where it ends. Customer service is hit and miss. They often don't have menu items and I've had undercooked chicken that they refused to take back to the kitchen and recook. They bring the dishes out in random order and forget to even bring some dishes out. The food is expensive by Kyrgyz standards and the rooms are always cold in the fall, winter and spring. For the money you pay, you should get more. Everyone should go at least once to Supara, but once is enough.

We were disappointed with the arrogance and dismissive attitude of the waiter Baibol on the evening of August 2, 2023. He simply forgot half of the orders, and when asked, he blatantly lied that we didn’t order, then said that there was no pizza. Although we have seen how it is prepared for others. We had to constantly re-order and wait, our child was left hungry. And when we asked to bring containers to take the boorsoks with us, he mockingly said that they cost 12 soms and quickly left, as if we could not pay for it. The most expensive restaurant in Bishkek offers such terrible service? The prices are five stars, and the service is one.

This place is dangerous for life. We ordered a platter of shish kebab. So there were metal shavings in the grilled vegetables!!! This is deadly. So the manager also wanted to make us pay for this kebab, wondering why we weren’t eating it. The staff tries hard to pretend that they are busy; if you ask for sauce, you won’t get it; they will simply pretend that they forgot about it. Disappointment and horror.

We came here for dinner after visiting Burana tower , place was cultural ethnic interior ambience , it was interesting and beautiful. We had their signature trout fish which was caught from their pond , it was fresh and crispy . One of the soup we ordered was gamey in taste so me and friends didn’t like it .

Located a little out of town, this restaurant is a must-do for visitors to Bishkek and popular with locals too. It is a complex of various buildings with some areas very new, a well stocked shop and lovely interior. The menu has a wide range of items and allows you to try a wide range of local dishes, but also has some international dishes too. Main courses take around 45 mins as they are made fresh, so heat order a samovar and take your time. There are a number of dishes and larger platters that either need preordering or take two hours. So if you fancy plov for instance, order ahead. Nice to explore a bit and see some traditional decor, construction and as eagle or two.

Supara is a complete experience. The food is fantastic, the facilities are beautiful and comfortable and the staff will go the extra mile to make your stay a wonderful one. For me the absolute best of all that summed up is the beautiful, detailed focused and respectful way in which you can experience here tradition, and as a foreigner get a bit closer to traditional music, food and dress. I recommend this to everyone!

Lots of exhibits and good places to eat local food. After visiting the grounds we had some excellent kabobs and homemade bread. Quite yummy. Friendly service. Lots of replica structures but some nice actual exhibits and artifacts.

The food was exceptional. I highly recommend the mix grill, borsok, fried cauliflower, mix berry drink and chocolate fondant. There is a play area to keep little ones entertained.

The place is pretty close to Bishkek. It's quite touristy but has a lot of charm and traditional elements which I loved. The dinner in the yurts was very good.
