Called in at this winery last week, expecting to have a cheese or meat plate at the cellar door. As this is only available at weekends, we ended up haveing a delicious two course lunch in the restaurant. My partner's coffee coated brisket was virtually a small joint! It was delicious and so very tender. My pork chop was so... More

Met friends for lunch. The dining room was beautiful with fantastic views. Was not sure of the 3 courses I had to order. We chose our meals with the pared wines. Whe the wines were delivered we got complimentary sourdough bread and butter with red wine salt. Wow delightful. With our mains we got complimentary mash potatoes and a divine... More

What a superb venue, overlooking the lake, the stonework and the impeccably kept gardens. We had booked a second visit following a delightful meal 18 months ago. Still an innovative and interesting menu but we were a little disappointed with the food today. I ordered 'Heritage Chicken', anticipating that I would be served amply fleshed pieces of chicken, moist and... More

You drive down a long country road lined with trees and bush. Glorious old grass trees amongst the gums. Turning into the winery you glimpse pretty bridges and a lake, the restaurant on a slight hill, with a verandah upstairs. Please note there are stairs and no lift. Large cavernous room inside with slightly uncomfortable plastic chairs. Firstly though we... More

I took my wife here for lunch for her birthday on the recommendation of a friend. We are so glad we went. As we wound our way down the narrow winding road through the bush behind Jarrahdale our expectations were amply rewarded with the vista of a magnificently sculpted winery estate on the hillside. We parked our car and then... More

Our party of 4 visited Millbrook today. The wine tasting was excellent and we purchased a bottle of each of the six sampled wines. We then proceeded to the restaurant for an incredible 3 course lunch. I cannot fault any of the food and the service was exceptional. I thought it was well priced and very good value. I would... Your don't have to go down to Margaret River for a delightful surprise in the bush not far from Perth. Millbrook Winery is in the jarrah forest just south of Perth. Beautiful surroundings, vineyard and excellent restaurant. Weekend meals are a set 3 course menu but still good value. All the dishes served were excellent. I do love rabbit and... More

So impressed with my visit to Millbrook . The food was so fresh and delicious and helpful chef and waiting staff made so welcome . Between courses I was brought fresh blackberries still warm from the morning sun set on a leaf straight from the garden . The bread straight from the oven was so full of flavour as was... More

I have eaten in the restaurant which is well appointed, tremendous views, interesting menu, attentive staff. Top of the range prices. I shared two sharing plates, a meat and a cheese in the downstairs cellar door this weekend. I thought it was very poor value for money, should a sharing cheese plate have no choice, one type of cheese and... More

This Winery is in a very picturesque setting and would be ideal for a wedding reception. We had hoped to taste some of the wines, but it was extremely busy and we couldn't get near any of the counters, plus there were several kids charging around the place, one of which I nearly fell over as he rushed out the...
