Great staff. Great food. Went out of their way to make sure we had best table. So kind and considerate . Food fabulous well cooked and healthy! Delicious!

Our experience at Sahra By The River was nothing short of spectacular! Over the years, I have hosted and attended events in several venues across Sydney but this one exceeded my expectations and the warmth of the staff only made the process more pleasurable. The...venue was gorgeous with lovely views of the Parramatta river and there were so many opportunities to take photographs. The food was delicious! The entrees were a meal by themselves followed by good sized mains. The service was on point. Special mention to Ronnie who ensured that we were very well looked after. Every guest with special dietary requirements was served individually and that was praiseworthy. He did it all with a smile on his face. I cannot speak highly enough of the manager of the restaurant, Jad, who genuinely went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful evening. He was highly professional and very accommodating. He responded promptly to all my with emails and tried his level best to provide the best service. We had a few hiccups on the day of the event,( I am to blame for it ) but once again Jad came to our rescue and without a fuss, he resolved the issue. He was just amazing and a sheer pleasure to work with. Several guests commented on how this was one of the most enjoyable parties they have been to in a while. This is a very pleasant and inviting place in a nice location - probably even better when the new tram is up and running. Very friendly and welcoming waiting staff got us to our table and were very attentive. Opted for the lower banquet fully...knowing the generosity of restaurants like this and the food started flowing. Dips were quite exceptional; best Babaganoush I've ever had with rich smoky flavour and silky smooth. Strained yoghurt also a highlight, but all good along with traditional fattoush. Coriander potatoes was delicious. Meats were good, but maybe not quite the same standard so lost a point there I'm afraid. Very good value and great food.More

We couldn't have asked for a better place to have our wedding reception! Jad is a wonderful event manager, his staff were all so kind, welcoming, attentive and so curteous in every way it made our day so much more special. The food was amazing...(as always) and every single employee was so happy to help, I never saw a glass empty, or a plate not full of food. Our guests were so well taken care of and so full when they left, not a single person left hungry or unhappy and we cannot thank you enough for how amazing our evening was. My family and I always come here for special events, most recently my parents 50th wedding anniversary. While I'm of Lebanese heritage, my wife and brothers in law are not, yet all of us love coming to Sahra by the river. The food is exceptional,...the vibe is warm, lively and lots of fun. Most importantly for us, these guys more than catered for our allergy needs. We haven't seen this kind of genuine warmth and thoroughness with allergies since we were in the UK. Celebrated my wife’s 40th at Sahra recently & they converted half the restaurant into a private party room for us … Oh boy, it was a night to remember!!! Our Manger Jad was accommodating of our requests & put on the best food, drinks and...entertainment. The food here is immaculately presented, has generous portions & tastes out of the world!!! We also got a very experienced party host so much so that being a host , I could actually enjoy the night myself without having to check on my guests and things… The venue is a 10/10 , bang on on the water and looks stunning at night with Mediterranean lighting and candles…U can’t go wrong with this place..Thx sahra & team for an amazing experience, we‘ll be back soon . The waiters were very friendly. I recommend bringing insect repellent if you’re in outdoor area. Food was amazing.

Lovely food and great service, will most certainly be back. Atmosphere is lovely for a romantic dinner or family visit.

We ordered the banquet as per our waiter's recommendation and it did not disappoint. Varied, fresh and delicious food and service was exceptional. He was honest with amounts and flavours, so we knew exactly what to expect. 10/10 will come back!
