I went here with a small group for drinks early one evening. However, noticing food being served at other tables, we decided to dine here too. We were not disappointed. The order was taken and sharing starters soon arrived. Once they were finished our mains arrived. We all chose differently: pork hock, jagerschnitzel, sausages and lamb amongst the choices. Four... We only came for a beer after work as it's Happy hour from 4-6. They have good craft beers like Butcher's Blonde, and the wine selection is also good. The buckets of beer also provide a good selection. We were going so well, we decided to stay for a meal. I had the full size pork knuckle, and this was... More

I found this place on my last visit to Parramatta last November. St Andrews Church in Phillip Street has been converted to a restaurant and pub using much of the church furniture. This place has great atmosphere and offers a great happy hour from 4pm to 6pm with beers cocktails wines and spirits at $5. I enjoyed their $5 500ml... More

This restaurant is located in a former church, but currently has a German atmosphere. There was a good choice of beers, including authentic German ones, and meals were also Ok.

This is my go to place for a decent schnitzel and a soft pretzel. I love the house beers here, and love the overall variety for the chicken schnitzel - it most definitely cater to those who eat meat! The sausage here is pretty great too. I love the overall atmosphere of the parramatta restaurant, since it is in an... More

Whenever I visit Parramatta on business I always like to come here at least once during my stay. Great schnitzel and sausages dishes!

From the moment we entered we were rushed. The waiter did not give us glasses with our beer tower. He was never around when we wanted something, however the second we ordered with someone else he would come up and ask what we wanted (annoying to repeat what we wanted- this happened 3 times). The food didn't taste as good... More

Beer comes in the typical Bavarian sizes of 500ml or 2 litres. lovely food and great service. Although I must admit, this is the first restaurant I've had a sirloin steak with a bit of bone throughout. Want a great experience of food then I would recommend this place.

Booked for dinner on Friday night. Basically from the moment we were seated we were under pressure to finish up and leave by the ever lingering waiter. We ordered entrée and mains, with the entrée being delivered only 3 minutes before the mains. We couldn't finish our entrée without the mains going cold. No problem, our waiter took the entrée...
