Had dinner here for the first time with my partner and found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming. We didn’t have to wait long on our food at all, and all of it was really tasty (the entree vegetarian platter was especially lovely!). I used The Fork app and managed to get 50% off the bill, which was already quite reasonably priced (definitely worth having a look for a deal on this). We look forward to visiting again in the future!

Visited colors of India for dinners on two consecutive days...the choice of vegetarian food karela (bitter melon) and katahal (Jack fruit) always made this restaurant special as no other restaurants in the world offered such choices.
Food is delicious and staff very polite courteous and caring...

We‘re turning into regulars here- great service, lovely atmosphere, and of course excellent food! The waitstaff remember us and are always delightful.
We get take-away just as often too, and I especially love the samosas- just the perfect level of crispy on the outside. When there‘s ever a question in the house of what we should do for dinner, Colors of India is everyone‘s first suggestion.

Went on 1st May 2021. They agreed on phone to let us pay by NSW Dining vouchers against Fork booking. They refused when we reached there and started proving that we are liars. When we showed the phone call to their numbers before making Fork Booking, Manager said someone irresponsible might have picked the phone would have answered (was it my mistake ?). Also, told us that it is common sense that both deals cannot be combined. But still dodged the question on why they agreed on phone. The Manager was very rude, uncourteous and blunt, continuing to prove us liars and that we were lacking "common sense". It was my Wife's birthday. On being humiliated by the Manager trying to prove us liars and lacking common sense, we walked out. No point dining at a place who do not keep their own words. The way she was talking to us rudely, I am wondering how this Manager was employed in the hospitality industry and how is this restaurant surviving. Although there were no patrons at that time, no wonder. Will not go there ever.

no words to describe the rudeness of the staff. I did not make it to the table as I decided to leave after one of the staff was being very rude to my girlfriend.
Note for the owner: Not the best way you should run a business, loosing potential new customers even before having your food. I’d suggest a review of your “staff”.
Positive note: went to another Indian restaurant 5min walking distance from you, where we have been welcomed and treated with the respect you should give to paying customers.

We bought a four course Groupon voucher. Perfectly enough for two (entrees, 2 curry, rice & naan, dessert and 2 drinks).
Good portions, nice flavours.
Staff is super friendly and kind.
Definitely going back and highly recommend to visit.

we ordered panneer butter masala and aloo jeera with couple of naans through doordash. WOW what timely service ...and WOW what tasty panneer butter masala. the gravy was so tasty. PLEASE DONT CHANGE A THING WITH THE RECIPIE...PLS. if it was the chef just stick to him or her. the only thing we ask is to have more panneer cubes floating in that luscious tasty gravy. the aloojeera was lovely too. will recommend to others if you continue to maintain the timely service to the door and tasty dishes

Our lunch experience here was simply amazing, all thanks to the waiter who served us (Shivang). Although the entire second floor of the restaurant was bustling with activity and food orders due to a birthday party, Shivang gave us a level of personalised service that we have not experienced before. He made us feel welcome and seated us down, gave us water, professionally apologised in advance that there could be a potential delay as he was the only waiter on duty and was juggling food orders from downstairs as well as from the party upstairs (a gesture which we responded to with complete understanding).
Even though he was so busy he took extra care in ensuring we were comfortable. For entree we ordered a mini dosa and were pleasantly surprised when he came with a large dosa and told us that he had upgraded it to a full size with compliments. He waited until we had finished our dosa (which was delicious by the way) and then told us that our mains were ready and he will keep them warm until we were ready to have them.
The dishes were simply amazing. Really nice flavours and wonderfully presented. Our table service during the meal was simply 5 star - Shivang kept checking on us periodically to see if we needed anything else and made sure we were comfortable. The service really made this an unforgettable experience - thank you Shivang.

Had a voucher dinner. Food was tasty, came out fast and our table finished 2 serves of the butter chicken! Great value with a voucher but maybe a bit expensive without vouchers. The place was reasonably busy and staff friendly and attentive. Will definitely return.

Came here with a groupon voucher. Had a set menu and chose our own curry. Naan bread was very fresh and tasty, the garlic one has lots of melted butter on top and had a lovely flavour. Curries were average and the serving size I found was smaller then most other Indian restaurants I have been too. Service was great too.

Came here under the fork festival, and glad we did. We will be back. Food was delicious, it’s indian cuisine with a modern presentation. We came on a wed night, and it was busy. Good vibe for the market this caters to, and location. Thanks!

We went there as I was missing some home cooked Indian food as my folks were in town over Christmas and was spoilt with delicious food!!
I have to say I was definitely not disappointed, the menu is varied and unlike other Indian restaurants it actually caters for everyone. The food is made to your taste preferences and really yummy!
Highly recommend!
