My wife and I stopped here on our way back from cycling up Col du Tourmalet. We were both exhausted and very hungry, however despite it being mid-afternoon we were welcomed and offered the majority of items on the menu. We both chose the lasagne...which came with a salad and was absolutely delicious. We had no intention of having a desert however Sabrina our attentive and very friendly waitress ‘persuaded’ us to try the fruit salad which was excellent. Our experience here was in complete contrast to the restaurant we had stopped at on our way up the mountain. A wonderful location, superb food, great friendly service, a great find that we would highly recommend.More

Great service. Food came out quickly. Good explanation of the French menu for us. Really liked the meat platter to share. For 56€ we had the share plate of beef, two bubbles and two rose, a crepe and a dessert. All with a friendly smile...😊 RecommendedMore

Really freindly restaurant in the centre of La Mongie. Good service and excellent food, copious quantities of fondue, huge raclette cheeses, great planchas. Really worth a visit, highy recommended. We’ll go back.

The planche's are highly recomended. A bit for everyone - also the children. The coffee is good. Cosy. Best place up here in the mountains.

So good we went twice! Charming inside and out and very good service. We had the sharing platter mixed grill on Day 1 - really nicely presented and tasted great. Great portions too.

Definitely book in advance. Great authentic mountain menu choice. Absolutely delicious, our kids asked for seconds! All the staff are charming, on the ball, attentive and make you feel so welcome straight away....if only all restaurants had such good staff!..and such scrumptious food!

Great meal, great atmosphere, great service. It’s busy so book. Drinking outside on hide covered seats or eat inside in the cosy restaurant. Thank you. I’ll be back.

We phoned ahead and booked a table for lunch as it gets very busy. Great atmosphere and all the staff were super friendly. The food was fantastic and for a show piece we persuaded our friends to have raclette with a half round of cheese...and ham. Lovely visit and will be back.More
