Enjoyed lunch at this restaurant. The remote location gives it a special atmosphere. Food was good and reasonably priced.

We dined at Kin Dee after a recomendation from friends and the restaurant did not disappoint. They use local produce caught by the local fishermen or grown in their own garden. We decided to steer away from the usual Thai favourites and opted for the chef's local creations, everything was great. This is a small restaurant so you will want... More
This restaurant is just across the highway from a clump of expensive resorts and provides a nice alternative to the sterilized hotel dining scene. The food is great, and served in a beautiful wooden restaurant overlooking the mangrove forest. The menu is in English and describes the dishes well, and staff can speak English as well if you have any... More
The Kindee restaurant is set in an elevated position giving the feel of a treetop location. You are surrounded by nature all around and the restaurant is decorated with different orchids and plants all over. The staff are friendly and courteous. We tried the Tom yum soup which was good - I would say standard. The pineapple rice was excellent.... More
The food was good and menu varied. It got very busy so we were lucky to get a table without booking. The downside was that the restaurant itself was so hot, the couple of fans they had seemed to be permanently faced to other tables, making the whole experience rather uncomfortable. I would describe the place as 'touristy authentic'.
Having stayed a few nights in a very nice but typically over-priced hotel resort nearby, we were craving a slice of real Thailand and Kin Dee delivered. We always look for a hidden gem restaurant whilst away on holiday and this may be it. For those who may have travelled to The Algarve, Portugal and experienced the brilliant Marufos (aka... More
Very highly recommended. Just a lovely little place with great character. The food is amazing, and so were the staff. The fact that most customers stopped to snap pictures with the staff is testament to the service. The fish and thai dishes were ones of the best we had in Thailand.

How far is this place from the Mariott in Mai Khao? Also what would be the average range of dinner price for 2 including 4 cocktails?
Hi, we would love to attend the cooking class. We are staying at the Rennaisance Resort Spa. How best can we get there?
How far is Kin Dee from Marriott?? Would like to know if it is walkable or do we need to take a cab to reach there.
I understand we can choose our menu that we want to cook. If we chose to include traditional thai sweet chilli sauce would that be ok?
