Who would have known this was here?? The signage is good, so no excuses ... if you are ever in the area, this is a must-visit. And if the food isn't enough, there's also the Petting Zoo for the young 'uns. The service was great...- the boss even stopped in and made a point to ask how the food was ("excellent" was our collective reply) - such a great homely, country business openly extolling the virtues of our great local produce. For myself, I'm pretty fussy when it comes to my Eggs Bennie, and mine rivalled any I have eaten elsewhere. If you have a food explosion, there's even a shower available ;) [serious face now ... but a great idea if you've got grubby from camp pack-up and were racing the clock to leave a site] We will make a point of coming back next January camping trip!More

We were getting peckish and stubbled across this beaut restaurant. Although we only had the soup of the day (potato and bacon), chips and a toasty, the flavour and service was bang on! The Iced coffee hit the spot as well. Would highly recommend stopping...in if you're visiting the area.More

There are very few places to eat around Port Arthur, thankfully less than 10km away is this gem. Lovely home cooked family meals, run by a family. All the food was large portioned and well cooked. We had a variety from steaks to lasagne, all...came out in good time. RecommendedMore

If you want great local food and friendly service don’t miss this place. After reading so many negative reviews about some places we were relieved to find this gem. The broccoli soup was amazing, the steak was so tender and the beef schnitzel great. You...could tell by the menu choices that this restaurant had a real chef and we were so happy to have the choice to have a good variety of veggies instead of chips. If you want a good meal make sure you come here! And you will be farewelled by the resident bird who loves a chat.More

Grant ( and Julie) go out of their way to serve excellent dishes in a unique environment. Great wines and local cheeses top off an excellent meal. Not to be missed!!
