A food shack on a roadside. Customers are half locals half tourists. Serves delicious pad Thai. Chicken soup is not my fav tho. The cashier, a lady with a smile at all times, taught us how to season our pad Thai and noodle soup. The lime juice added to the pad Thai perfected the dish.

If you’re staying near Karon, visit this one. They have a good selection of thai food ranging from Pad Thai to Krapow dishes as well as grilled extras and soups. Multi language menu and English speaking friendly staff members make it easy to find your desired dish. Takeaway possible. The place is quite hot but that’s the only downside IMO.

My partner and I went there for lunch. We loved the local vibe with simple tables and chairs. You roder at the counter, the prices are very good. When it's ready they call you and you pick up the food. The chicken noodle soup and chicken pad thai we took were tasteful and the owner of the place ketps turning around the tables making sure everyone had a great experience and recommended us to add some toppings and spices. You could tell that she was proud of her food and put her sould into it. Great experience overall.

The taste of the food was ok but the lady behind the counter was rude when I ask for the extra chili sauce. I even told the lady to pay extra for the sauce which is 15-20 grams, she replied very arrogantly. I will never go back to this restaurant again and I don’t recommend to ask anything extra if you visit this place.

November 2023. We were around lunchtime from 12-13, there were a lot of people, almost all locals. We ordered pad thai with chicken and shrimp. We waited for 15-20 minutes. The portions are large. Tasty. Budget (60 baht each). Self-service. They don't work on Saturdays, they don't work after 7 p.m.

This used to be our go to cheap eats on Phuket.. been coming back to this little highway shop for 10 years.
Most of the menu is completely altered, instead of offering what was the best noodle dishes (pad kee mao etc) they have slimed down to pad Thai (very very ordinary pad Thai I must say)
and some other dishes.
While it was busy, I did t see the queues of old.. nor was the food anywhere near as good as it used to be.
Might give this place a miss from now on.. unfortunately!

Very authentic place with amazing food.
I tried beef soup and stir fried chicken with fried egg and it was fantastic.
You can see a lot of locals eat here so you know it’s good. The stuff is friendly and quick. You also get a free water if you want.

I ordered pad Thai. The taste is nothing special. The most negative part is the staff. They are not friendly at all. Commanding you to sit down and get up when food is ready. Not in a friendly way. If you just want to fill your stomach at a cheap price, this is the place for you.

Superbly authentic feel like home-cooked Thai food. You see more of locals than tourist so you know the food is authentic. Good service. The chicken and beef balls are awesome. It has been my go-to lunch place in Phuket. Definitely must come to visit.

I liked several things about this restaurant:
First of all i liked its authentic. You can find plenty of locals eating there.
Secondly i really liked how it tasted. Taste is amazing. And the last but not least: prices are low.
Strongly recommend to visit this place and to see real gastronomic thai atmosphere.

if you really want to try the real local food, this is a place. you can have a lot of food <$10. I went there with my family based on the review, but the restaurant is kinda dirty. The food may be OK, but I lost my appetite due to not so clean environment. Plus, their noodle soup is actually not good. if you are there and want to try some, stay with Pad Thai and fried rice.

Wow! What a find! Saw this in the lonely planet guide and lucky to be a ten minute walk away. We had chicken noodle soup and prawn pad Thai. It was so good! And so cheap! 140bhat for two meals and two drinks. Cafe self service style place but adds to the authentic ness.

so clean, so fresh. This place was as authentic as they come with words of dishes I have never heard of. As there was a few of us, we thought we would try a few and they were all delicious.
