I came here with a business partner for discussing some common ventures. The staff is very friendly and swift. The owner gave access to his private wifi, ss my phone could connect to the public data network. Food came fast and was delicious. We had some typical Bavarian local dishes. Great view if there are now low clouds. Call there... More

We had a very good lunch today while we were walking on the King Ludwig walk. The initial waitress we had was very nice and when we needed a little more help (because our German is pathetic) the owners son Phillip came over and explained the menu. We ended up with 2 good choices and the quality of the food... More

Had an early dinner here whilst walking past. The situation and views are superb but the restaurant is also serious about its food. I couldn't fault my dinner. Although I didn't partake the cakes and ices look wonderful. The staff seemed very friendly and helpful.

Came here with a group of university students on a study abroad. Great food and local atmosphere. The views are really excellent. We ordered a wide variety from the menu and everything was excellent. The waitress spoke no English but they have English menus. They take only cash, no cards.

We arrived here hot and thirsty after a 25km day's walking on the King Ludwig Way, with a very steep climb at the end! We only had a bier as we had a bit further to walk on to our hotel, but what a bier! The view from the terrace of the German and Austrian Alps is spectacular and the... More

Great location on top the hill. Views of the Alps! Place looks fab from the outside. Unfortunately only opens till 18.30 Mon-Fri in winter, so we didn't have a chance to eat there as visited in January. Hopefully we will next time round.

We used to visit Bayerischer Rigi at least once a month when living in Munich since we discovered it on a motorcycle tour (lovely road going up there). Bayerischer Rigi is on top of Hohenpeißenberg which means it has an altitude of1000 m (mamsl). It is located in the "Voralpen" = before the Alps really start and when the weather... More

This charming restaurant is the hidden gem tucked away between the gorgeous Linderhof Palace and Zugspitze that offers the grand panorama view of Bavaria, Austria, Switzerland and Italy. Located on the hilltop of Hohenpeißenberg, this award-winning venue also provides the idyllic view overlooking the Bavarian villages in addition to the authentic Bavarian gourmet along with classy ambience. I had come... More

We were brought by a local to this restaurant, church & Overview of the stunning Alps to the south...and to the north, the Ammersee & town of Diessen. We took the opportunity to get refreshments, and Ice Cream, and to soak in the glorious view!! The church was beautiful, but the View is the star...especially on a clear day. Outdoor... More
