Small Thai restaurant not too far from the beach in Kata. All types of Thai food on the menu with quick service and much better prices than eating at the hotels or at the sea front in Kata. Not hard to find, maybe a 6 minute walk from Kata beach. They cater to Western tastes so tell them if you like it spicy! The Thai soups on the menu tasted excellent.

Nice selection of well prepared local favorites and friendly and efficient service. Perfect lunch spot with reasonable prices. Visited twice while in Phuket, and both times the Red Chair was busy with both tourist and locals looking for authentic Thai cuisine. A short walk from Kata Beach.

This place is unreal! Not only is the food delicious, but it also comes in like 5-7 minutes. My wife and I spent 6 weeks in Phuket and probably ate here around 20-30 times. The green curry, Massaman curry, papaya salad, morning glory, tom yom, and watermelon shake are all must-tries,
If you need delicious Thai food and are in a hurry, boy is this the place for you!

Food was average and the atmosphere felt sold out to a Western/Holiday making crowd. Nothing noteworthy, really, but if you want a basic meal close to the beach then this place ticks a box.
Plenty of better options in the area. We recommend heading to Koi Restaurant for real local food and a proper Thai experience.

There are a handful of restaurants around Kata beach that are exceptional quality, great atmosphere, and very economical. Red chair is on that list. We had an exceptional meal, and if you were looking for good local Thai food, this is it. A local tailor recommended Red Chair as one of his two favorites for local Thai flavor (also Koi Restaurant). The service was friendly and quick. We had curry with crab meat, Massaman with chicken, & Tom Yam with sea bass - they were all delicious!

Had two entrees, soft drinks and two mains with rice for 520 bht.
All meals were excellent and decent size. Would highly recommend this place for people seeking great local food at a fantastic price who aren’t too fussy about the polish of a great fitout.
Love great value for money with good food. Highly recommend Red Chair.

Food was yummy, we returned multiple times during stay. Favourites were massaman beef and glass noodles with vegetables & egg.
Service was very quick
Cocktails were delicious
Nice and clean, lots of ceiling fans

Red Chair is a must-visit restaurant in Thailand! We make it a point to eat here at least twice during our annual visits. The locals and hotel staff always recommend Red Chair, and for good reason. The food is incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. Despite being busy, we never have to wait long for a table. Most often, we are able to get a table for two or four. If you're looking for a delicious meal in a vibrant atmosphere, Red Chair is the place to go!

After a week in Kata, we (me and my 13 year old daughter) tried this restaurant only on the last evening and in our opinion it is the best in Kata. Super friendly staff, delicious and abundant dishes, real Thai cuisine and half the price compared to all the other restaurants on the main street, too touristy and expensive, better left to the Russians!

Top-notch. Excellent food, super friendly, friendly and efficient waitresses. In addition, very good value for money. Many locals eat at this restaurant. We loved it and we adopted this little restaurant, a little far from Kata Beach but good. It is well worth the detour. 1000% recommended. In our opinion number 1 on kata beach.

Delicious food, good atmosphere, many menus, coconut water drinks, inexpensive prices, good service staff. Recommend the crispy pork noodles. Very delicious. Must try.

I've had quite a lot of Thai food in my time. So I feel I can say that the food here is simply the best. Great service. Plus a spacious, airy dining area with a high ceiling with big mounted fans, nice wooden chairs and tables (no plastic covers here:-) And very fair prices. What's not to like?

Excellent restaurant both for the food and the price, we tasted various dishes and they were all excellent, the service is fast and the staff very kind. We had already come a few years ago and everything remained as before. If you are a company of more than 6 people it is better to book because even if it has a large hall it is always full

Our night commenced with delicious cocktails and frosty cold beer. Service was prompt and staff very helpful. We selected some predictable starters of spring rolls and chicken wings. I've thought about those wings every day since! I can't recall what everyone ordered for mains, but they were all amazing, and we left very full and very happy.

Have been coming here whenever we come to Phuket and have never been disappointed. The food here is extremely extremely good! We ate here almost everyday and nothing compare to the taste here. Love love love their tom yum soup!!
