With the amount of boats moored up here we thought it may be a good place to stop and we are glad we did. Both times we visited the food was extremely good and the staff were very, very nice. Although the place is very busy they deliver quality food and you don't have to wait too long. The pub... More

We had hired a canal barge over the Easter weekend and stopped to moor up at the Barbridge Inn, we hadn't booked a table and it was extremely busy but the front of house lady was very accommodating and manged to rearrange tables to seat the 4 of us. The menu isn't huge but it had something to suit everybody,... More

We have been to the Barbridge many times, owning a narrowboat on the Shropshire Union means we are in the area several times a year. We booked for Easter Saturday and they managed to fit us in. The food was absolutely brilliant, it has been very good in the past, but this time the chef excelled himself. The staff were... More

It was about 5-30 on Good Friday when I rang the Inn at Barbridge to reserve a table. The gent I spoke to on the phone stressed to me they were very busy and that the table could well be out of the restaurant area. I told him it wasn't a problem and we booked a table for 2 for... More

Visited the Barbridge Inn whilst on a canal boat trip with a friend who cooks very well indeed, but decided to have lunch here so he could have a break from cooking. Very good chilli served by attentive staff who were also very friendly, god beer selection and a large menu with a big variety of food, beware the helpings... More

Visited here yesterday with my husband. We were given a friendly and helpful welcome from the waitress and given a choice of tables. We both chose from the over 60's menu. £8.95 for 2 courses. The portions were definitely aimed at the smaller appetite, but everything was really well presented, and the food was hot and tasty. Very cute homemade... More

Lovely setting, friendly staff and good menu with reasonable prices. We've recently discovered this little gem and have now been 2 weeks in a row with different friends.

I had the garlic mushrooms to start which were by far the best I have ever had anywhere, I actually didn't want the dish to end and considered cancelling my main... More
