The setting and views are excellent. We went as a family of 10 with three kids under 7. They had a good time with a lot of space to run around as well as a small playground. The food is nothing to rave about; fish...and chips, calamari etc.More

Great views but french fries must have been under the heat lamp for a long, long time. Horrible. Sentiment share by many more in our group. Can't definitely say they were the cause of my vomiting later on.
We dropped in for lunch and was met with an unwelcoming "Get ya hat off". We were not aware until we saw the sign on the bar that caps are not permitted. On the Sunshine Coast hats are permitted in surf clubs such as Coolum...especially on scorching hot days. My friend and I ordered fish and chips and received two overcooked fish finger like piece's of what appeared to be fish and the chips were below average and cold. We weren't game to say anything as the female bar staff appeared annoyed that we were there. The four of us are 62-69 yrs old. Only good thing was the beer was cold and it's in a great location. It's not hard to be friendly.More
This restaurant has recently changed hands and the present owner has raised the standard of meals and service! We ordered fish, one serve oven baked and the other served crumbed. Both arrived without a long wait, were plentiful, well presented and absolutely delicious. The restaurant...area caters for inside and outside dining and the view across the water, especially at sunset is spectacular! A great place to spend a leisurely meal!More
Food was ok Great chips Real grassy area on the water Very relaxed we got a real surprise Only open a couple of days a week though I booked via email that is our table in the photo Great friendly service
Little ship’s club is a classic club on the foreshore, we picked it because of its location (right next to the jetty where the Stradbroke flyer docks), menu was what you would get at an RSL, ordered fish and chips and the serve was great...size, also we ordered drinks and the lemon lime and bitters was amazing, we chose to sit right on the sea front, yeah it was a little further to walk to pick up our meals and return our plates but, it was worth itMore
Beautiful location and amazing food with great service. A perfect way to spend an afternoon with family and friends.
This place is great for having a drink watching the sunset waiting for the ferry to come in...beers are cold, heaps of lawn so there’s no cramping anyone’s vibes..nice nibbles also
Went recently and the service was really slow- the food is ok, but better places on the island. The woman that works behind the bar, name was Tracy I think is really rude, customer service is not her thing. We’ve been there a few times...over the holidays and each time she’s been horrible... on our third visit we waited until another woman was behind the bar so we didn’t have to be served by her. Customer service can go a long way- she’s deterred us from booking our wedding there.More
AMAZING food, SPECTACULAR views, IMPECCABLE service. The LSC is truly an unmissable destination on straddle that would be enjoyed by all!

A great spot to chill out watch the boats and relax. Cold beer, plenty of outdoor space, nearly perfection!!

I’ve been here twice now while filling in time on the way to the ferry.. But now I know that I would just make a special trip to come here anyway because the staff are so hospitable drinks have reasonable prices and the food is...for food very tasty and no complaints around the quality...pub meals that hit the spot reasonable prices. It’s a really relaxing unpretentious place where you can mingle with the locals but also have a lot of space around you on the grassy lawns.... overlooking the bay. Both times there has been a live band that play covers to stir your heart memories have a dance and sing. I Say come here you will enjoy JMore

Enjoyed a mid week holiday lunch at the Club. On offer was a wide selection of meals around the $25-$30 price range. The meals were prepared quickly and were very generous and tasty. You will not walk away hungry. Could possibly benefit from some more...lunchtime sized (and priced) choices but in all a relaxed and enjoyable meal with great bay views.More

We arrived on our dinghy at about 1.10 pm - having queued around 25 minutes we were informed there was no fresh fish available - and so we chose 2 calamari, 2 vegetarian lasagnes and 2 salads - after an hour and 15 minutes the...food arrived - minus 1 calamari and we were offered - after all that wait with not a soul bothering to let us know they couldn’t supply our order, some non fresh prawns. We declined and were given a refund. The food - apart from the salad, was cold - the chips inedible - it was a total disgrace - we will never recommend or return - it could be such a great place.More
