I've been to this restaurant many times. Friends live very near. Always well prepared Reggiana style food( a variation on Parma style specialities). Good wine list. Reggiano Lambrusco is the favored House wine. Large patio that's well staffed. Menu on a chalkboard

We had lunch under the arbor outside. It was very pleasant. I had a very interesting chicken salad with grapefruit slices. They went very well with the chicken. My wife had "roast beef" and found out this is a misnomer. It seems the "roast beef" is not roasted at all, but raw meat. They were kind enough to cook the... More

We have a recommendation by a shop owner from Casalmaggiore to go 10+ km away Viadana and grab something to eat in Osteria Da Bortolino. It was really a good advice, great place!

A very nice place very close to the Po river. The food is quite good but prices are too high for the whole.

Good restaurant near Po river in northern Italy. You can taste many kinds of Italian Tortelli: pumpkin tortelli, green (with spinach), and a good choice of meats. You can find special salami, parma ham, italian cheese. Good choice of wine.

Good food. Good wines. Good people. Sometimes good music as well. If you hang on at Viadana or nearby ( see Unesco Oldtown Sabbioneta or Brescello .. See the Movie Saga Don Camillo e Peppone ) don't miss the chance to enjoy the Osteria Bortolino. And if you want to dream your ( alcoholic ) dinner out , you may... More

Beautiful food and beautiful views... The service was really personal, with all the staff smiling and recommending me food from the menu. The food was real authentic Italian food, and I tried things I never have tasted before. The salami was especially tasty!! With the friendly atmosphere and amazing food we went back to this restaurant repeatedly! I would definitely... More

We have dinned here twice and everytime we go to Viadana we will always eat in this Osteria as the food is outstanding and the choice of local dishes is fantastic.

Great place! Didn't think it was too expensive as others have suggested. Nice variety of menu with unique and local options. In September we sat outside at dark and it was pleasant.

The location is really great and the building as well, not far from the river Po. Food is usually good but it often gets crowded and the quality gets down a little bit. Prices are .. not low
