Great venue for lunch. The sushi is wonderful. Enjoy a local beer and watch the waves gently roll in......

We were staying at a guesthouse, not far from this beach and beach bar. So the plan was to have lunch there and visit the beach. We took the car and just before arrival were stopped by a big white guarded gate. Looking like a...resort of some sort. The not very helpfull gate person asked us what we wanted to do, and I answered that we wanted to have lunch at the beach bar and visit the beach. He said we needed a reservation and could not enter unless we were staying at the hotel over near the beach. He then told me the beach bar was full, which seems very strange during the off season with little to no tourists on the island. Then he said we could perhaps eat at the fancy expensive other restaurant next to the beach bar. We turned around went to a different beach on the other side of Praslin. I've read that there are no beaches claimed by hotels or resorts in the Seychelles. This seamed to be an exception... Very dissapointing.More

Simply amazing Sushi with probably the best view we ever had (seated at the beach underneath palm trees and spectacular waves in front of us). The Sushi was great and less expensive than we thought. Definitely a place to go but you need a reservation...for the restaurant which is not easy to get. Ask your hotel to try. Afterwards we strongly recommend to walk through the golf course and to settle down at the Anse Georgette Beach! High waves make it difficult to swim but just jumping into them is amazing and the beach itself is fantastic!More
