Happened along on Valentines Day for lunch. It has a good atmosphere, outlook and with an extensive menu plus very professional wait staff.
We started with a bottle of Shaw & Smith SSB @$59 ($60 @ Locale & LaVida, $62 @ Sails, $73 @ Rickys). Always reliable.
Then a small Pane della casa (house bread) - offered with Italian olive oil or an Australian butter.
For entrees both the Qualia (Quail, wild rice with fine cut seasonal vegetables and lime & ginger dressing) and Calamari (with chorizo, roasted banana chilli & cannellini beans) were extra delicious - in fact could have been preferred as mains had such been available.
For mains we chose the Maiale @ $42 (suckling pig & roast seasonal veges) and the Pollo (lemon chicken sitting on parsnip puree, with corn, risotto with wild mushrooms). The pollo was a very substantial meal but its accompaniments lacked the delicious tangy bite of the quail dish's. The Suckling pig was very tasty but a little fatty (unlike a twice cooked pork belly). It was another sizeable dish. So we had to skip dessert, but the mandarin mousse special sounded and looked very interesting.
Waitresses were excellent, and we shall compare the overall experience (which was very satisfying) with other Sunshine Coast Italian restaurants as we get the chance.

We went to the Noosa water front and had a party of 12 so not a small group. The waitress was fantastic and the setting a great surprise as the open dining style creates a terrific atmosphere. The food for me was very good I had the pig and the signature seafood mix. This is a very nice place and one of the only that has the doors open and either Aircon on which makes it special for Noosa as ‘hot restaurants’ are a bid issue. The feedback from the group was good however there is a massive selection to choose from and maybe they are trying to cover too much which can take the edge off versus a more streamlined menu for the chef. Anyway I was impressed. Give it a try is my advice. Not cheap but your in Noosa 😄

Family dinner on our last night in Noosa. Talk about saving the best til last! Even the kids menu was well presented. Three generations of our family enjoyed a beautiful meal served well in great surroundings accompanied with great wines. We will definitely revisit on our next trip.

Last night was our third visit and could not have been more disappointed. Last time we visited which was exactly a year to the day, we found Waterfront to be a very memorable experience. Firstly, when the wine arrived it was just poured, without tasting first. The food attendant did her best to describe the entree which was supposed to be frozen avocado, with something something something. The dish was confused, overworked and barely edible. After enquiring about the scallop entree to follow I asked if the scallops were served hot, which she said they were. When my meal arrived the scallops were stone cold and once again the plate was overworked and not pleasant at all. Besides the food and service being so disappointing the whole ambience just lacked from how it was. Such a beautiful venue that could have it all, but have lost it. We won’t return sadly.

We found the food disappointing. I had the beef 'cutlet', and found the meat tough, with added vegetables poorly cooked and unpalatable. My wife had gnocchi with four prawns for $35.00. My daughter had an asparagus dish which she couldn't eat. Our friend had a single quail which was overcooked. (She is an expert at cooking quail)
The deserts were also disappointing. The Tiramisu was almost tasteless apart from the wine, the lemon curd was so sweet the lemon flavour was drowned and the Black Forest cake had one cherry cut into four segments and was either a very airy cake or crusty mousse (couldn't tell). The wine was nice (at $100.00) and the garlic pizza and salad entree was delicious. Overall, long desired, but very disappointing experience. after

Absolute divine. From staff, to service timing to the food. Congratulations to all for providing us with a meal to remember!
I have no idea what AlbaTruffle from Sydney in the review below is talking about!!! I think they may have reviewed the wrong restaurant (no, seriously, I think they have).
From being greeted by the friendly concierge immediately, to being seated straight away, to being served straight away from the most friendliest of wait staff, absolutely nothing was too much. Are ice was fantastic.
The food - a big thank you to the chef for providing us with such delicious meals and so beautifully presented (lovely tableware btw). We had the fried mozzarella, zucchini and ceviche entrees and three pastas all round (one was the special of the day, carbonara, which was made the proper way, not with gallons of cream).
The setting right on the Noosa River (you can see it all round from inside) is amazing.
If ever in Noosa, don’t miss this one!

Booked this restaurant based on its location and menu which were both very appealing, what we experienced was the best night out of our holiday. The staff are attentive, personable and very professional. They know the menu, can describe the dishes and are very confident recommending dishes if asked.
The food was incredible! The whole fish (for two) which was expertly filleted at the table was delicious and the passion at which it was served added to the experience. The meals were filling without overdoing it and allowed for dessert, which was delicious.
This restaurant is one of the best in the region.

Found us a table on the last day of school holidays. Waiter was very patient with us as we took a long time deciding on what dishes to share, recommended a bottle of wine in the mean time as the one we wanted was out of stock. Burrata and prosciutto to start was to die for. Waiter did misunderstand we wanted one serve of the bay bug pasta to share as we received two but we enjoyed it anyway. Crispy skin Barra could have done with some sort of extra sauce/ liquid to the dish, the carrot anglaise was very strong and overpowered the fish. Although we didn’t have room for it the creme brûlée was light a fruity to finish. All round good dining experience

We went to Waterfront to celebrate my mum's 80th birthday. Three generations of us each had three courses, and there was not a single disappointment or complaint. The food was superb in both taste and presentation, and both the food and drinks menus were extensive. Our waitress, Jule, was fabulous too. Altogether, a memorable experience for all the right reasons.

It had been a while since we visited this popular Noosa restaurant and it didn’t disappoint.
The little touches were noticed such as explaining the characters of the house wines on offer and then bringing out the bottles of wine and fresh glasses when ordering a glass.
Food was faultless flavour and presentation wise however my husbands beetroot risotto was on the cold side probably due to the very wide bowl it was served in and it being a cold evening.
Waiter was extremely friendly and informative but more notice could have been given to our empty water bottle that sat for quite a while but after getting the attention of another waiter we got some more water. A very small detail!
Will definitely be back, food and service was fabulous, prices on the high side but service and food reflects that.
Thank you for a lovely evening 🙏

We picked this restaurant as it had excellent reviews & was close to where we were staying. We couldn't have been more impressed by the service & quality of food. Absolutely to die for! My partner was so impressed he has now taken up making his own replica pasta dishes (he had the tortellini)! The gnocci was soft & flavoursome & all bar & waitstaff were extremely friendly, we walked away feeling so happy & full! Thanks so much for the pleasant night, it was our anniversary so we were thrilled to have had such a wonderful & memorable experience. You guys rock!

Highly recommend this restaurant if you like authentic Italian food - atmosphere is wonderful and wait staff are friendly and helpful. The house made pasta is amazing, with sauces or bisques that you can tell have been made with passion, time and love. The pizzas are also delicious with a thin delicious crust.
Didn’t try it but the seafood stew looks amazing (someone else on the table had it) and the wagyu steak is cooked wonderfully with a great sauce and sides. Kids meals are generous and super tasty proper food you feel good giving to your kids instead of the usual fried options you get for kids.
Have already been several times in the past couple of weeks and booked again for next week! If you’re still hungry after all that the tirimisu and gelato is delicious too!!

At $180 for two, this venue needed to hit the highs throughout. Unfortunately there were a couple of misses.
We had the Tortelli de Granchio for entree. This dish was shared, giving us each 3 tortellis in our dishes. We did order the dish as a main that we could share, so i felt than 3 tortellis was a bit on the short side. The tortellis were hard and the spanner crab filling was rather tasteless. Pasta that would have melted in our mouths would have been more welcoming. My other half had the same comments as i did regarding this dish.
The mains were Mancini Spaghetti and Tuscan Seafood medley stew. While the spaghetti was very nice, the serving portion was small, as can be clearly seen in the photo. Thank goodness for the sides of potatoes and broccolini, or i would still have been hungry. The seafood medley was also very nice and tasty.
The venue has a great location and the staff are very attentive.

The good. This restaurant is conveniently located towards the Tewantin end of Gympie Terrace, it's a very professional operation, the food is very good in both variety and quality, the staff are efficient and friendly, and the wine list is most comprehensive.
The bad. This is a top end restaurant by Noosa standards and that's reflected in their prices.
We went there between Christmas and New Year, incurring a $500 bill for four adults. That didn't unduly faze me, as a local I was just pleased they were able to open in these covid19 times. What got right up my nose though was the $6 surcharge for paying by Mastercard. The actual amount is petty, it's just a couple of coins, but the principle is anything but petty.
I fail to understand is why a restaurant that charges $54/dozen for oysters natural needs to gouge an extra $6 in a $500 bill. That is outrageous.

Celebrating our wedding anniversary. We were seated at a beautiful table looking over the canal. We felt like we were in Europe. Gianpaolo, our waiter arrived and from that point the evening went to next level. We simply asked him to look after the food and the wine, and we wanted to share everything. We then experienced the most beautiful Italian fare, with impeccable, friendly, knowledgeable & professional service. The food was spectacular (big thanks to the kitchen) and Gianpaolo perfectly matched imported and very interesting wines with each course. Totally amazing. Possibly the best dining experience we have ever had. Thank you Gianpaolo and Team at Noosa Waterfront.
