Great fish & chips, good choice of fish & other takeaway options. Good service & not too long to wait.

Not up to the usual standard , raw batter, old fries cooked in old oil. Not worth $$ paid. Disappointed at quality of meal.
We came back to find the fish where lovely chips where a bit over cocked maybe ( to many small and crunchy chips..) good location to site on the river and enjoy the meal. fast service due to be Wednesday around 5 pm..
Great food and service. Everyone was very happy and helpful. It was our last night at Noosaville so we decided to enjoy fish and chips in our apartment on the balcony. Great value.
A wide variety of drag fish cooked to order. A selection of side dishes also available. The grilled barramundi with a side salad was very good Lunch is also available. We took away some fresh prawns and a spring roll. They weren’t as good as...the barramundi but good value for money.More
This was quick fresh and simply awesome. As previously having owned a takeaway you know when the food is fresh and clean oil is being used. Can’t fault and great selection.
First visit to the Red Emperor. We got River for 2 pack. Calamari, scallops and chips were yummy, and good size serve. The fish had a good flavour but was a bit dry. It is a good old fashion Fish and Chip shop.
Worst Fish & chips I've had. Overpriced fish which is over cooked and dry and I'm really not sure what the chips are. Strange yellow colour and nothing like potato. $30 for 2 pieces of fish and a mini chips I'd except better.
I went in today on my lunch break and the friendly staff helped me choose something delish! I ended up with the hamburger with the works! 🤤🤤
We love fish and chips - we really do and we eat it pretty much everywhere that we visit. But we won’t be going back to this place unfortunately ! Strolling along the banks of the Noosa river we decided to grab some lunch and...spotted the Red Emperor. We ordered barra and chips and took our seats outside whilst we waited. What arrived was a surprisingly yellow and extremely oily meal - and one that neither of us finished due to its greasy content. The chips were so bizarre - like Chernobyl chips - an alarmingly bright yellow unnatural looking chip which put us off immediately and a half hour later caused an immediate reaction with my stomach. Definitely one to avoid.More
Best fish and chips on the Sunshine Coast. Customer service from Michelle was fantastic. Highly recommend
Dreadful. Will never eat there again. A complete rip off also. Calamari (if you could call it that) looked like dried up shoelaces. The chips were bright yellow. Very disappointing.
Terrible chips, fish so overcooked you could have been eating the cardboard box it came in and not known, claim to be selling coral trout, red emperor and pearl pearch…not really convinced as all portion size fillets seem as though they’d be very undersized, not...sure how it works for fish n chip shops but if I caught a coral trout that size I’d definitely be throwing it back…calamari very disappointing, and steer well clear of the tartare sauce…shame it’s so hard to find good honest fish and chipsMore
Just want to thank Michelle and the guys today for a really great lunch. They made the best battered fish I have had in a long time. Will be back again soon.
Went at lunch time on a weekday. Had crumbed hoki which was quite nice but the chips were the worst I have ever had. Half had been over cooked to the point I could have broken a tooth and the other half were were dripping...with oil. Had to throw them to the seagulls and even they turned their noses up.More
